Abstract

The article presents a study on the role of bi-cistronic baculovirus/T in larvae expression system in producing recombinant E2 glycoprotein (rE2). The study indicates that the larvae expression system can secrete substantial levels of rE2 glycoprotein to the hemolymph. Moreover, it also determines that the system can help distinguish infected and uninfected larvae and reduces target protein degradation.

Abstract

The article discusses the study, which aims to determine the functional expression of a fungal immunomodulatory protein (FIP) from Song-Shan Lingzhi in Sf21 insect cells. The study involves the fusing of a recombinant FIP-gts and 6His-tag at its C-terminus, which was expressed in Sf21 insect cells by the baculovirus expression system, to produce active FIP-gts for evaluation of oral administration. Key information regarding the study are further discussed.

The article discusses the construction of nissin-controlled gene expression system in Lactococcus reuteri. The system was constructed by ligating nisA promoter and nisRK DNA fragments into the Escherichia coli-Lb. reuteri shuttle vector pSTE32. The chimerical plasmid was capable of expressing the heterologous amylase gene under nissin induction.
