The aim of the article is to substantiate the components of the resource potential of the insurer as a complex category that characterizes the activity of the subject and allows it to move towards the set goal of activity. In the analysis of professional literature in terms of the content and components of the resource potential of an economic entity, the content of the concept of «resource potential» of the insurer is clarified and its components are outlined. At that, the allocation of components was carried out taking into account the objective-subjective and resource-functional composition of the potential. As a result of the study, it is concluded that financial, material, investment, personnel, information, and technological potentials are directly related to the resources of the insurer, the relationship between which allows the company to provide quality services, apply innovations in the insurance market, provide opportunities to compete in this market and achieve the planned goals. A characterization of the mentioned types of potential is provided. In particular, the financial potential is characterized by allocating the indicators by which it should be analyzed. The material potential is described in terms of the totality of tangible assets and resources that an insurance company can or already uses in its activities. The personnel and technological potentials are characterized by directions and possibilities of their application. The informational potential is defined by a company’s ability to collect, process, store, and use information for decision-making, business process optimization, customer service, and risk management. The investment potential allows the company to receive additional funds and expand its activities. Effective use of the resource potential is manifested in the formation of strategic and market potential of an insurance company and significantly strengthens its competitive position in the insurance services market.

The article is aimed at solving the actual problem of studying the factors of internal and external environment of functioning of sectoral structures. The authors analyzed an aggregate of various indicators for assessing the factors of development of sectoral structures using methods of multivariate statistical analysis. The completeness of the theoretical description of objects and objectivity of conclusions during the study of the problem of factor analysis of functioning of the mechanism of management of sectoral structures has been achieved. The problem of analysis of resource and investment-innovation factors of development of sectoral structures using factor analysis is examined. It is proposed to quantify the efficiency of functioning of the mechanism of enterprise management to use indicators of assessment of resource and investment-innovation potentials, which should be considered as indicators of outputs of the production system, transformed and obtained as a result of the influence of the management mechanism. The analysis was carried out in two directions: resource and investment-innovation. A large number of indicators characterizing the state of the internal and external environment of enterprises were processed, and using the methods of factor analysis, they were replaced with a certain set of uncorrelated parameters, which allowed to reduce the dimension of the studied totality of data. The state of resource and investment-innovation potentials of enterprises was considered as a result of the influence of the management mechanism, taking into account industry affiliation, that is, separately for enterprises of mechanical engineering, light or food industries. As result of the analysis, the following general factors were formed for light industry enterprises: economic direction of capital use; efficiency of use of the labor and material resources; efficiency of use of the equity and borrowed capital; efficiency of use of the borrowed funds. For food industry enterprises, the following factors are formed: the economic direction of capital use; efficiency of the financial and production activities; the ability of the management mechanism to provide a stable amount of profit; efficiency of use of fixed assets. Within the terms of investment and innovation direction for mechanical engineering and light industry enterprises, the most important factor is that which can be interpreted as the efficiency of research activities, the less important factor – the direction of using own investments for innovation; of the smallest importance is the direction of using investment resources for the production of innovative products.

The article is aimed at theoretical deepening the understanding of the essence of savings of the population and their role in the formation of the resource base of banks, as well as analyzing the domestic banking practices on the use of this source in the formation of the banks’ resources. The article explores the essence of savings of the population and defines their role in the formation of the banks’ resources. Based on the consideration of the approaches to understanding the concept of «savings of the population», it is stated that their essence is manifested in four aspects: firstly, the savings of the population are a deferred part of their income; secondly, savings are part of the money supply; thirdly, savings can be conceived as the process of making decisions on asset accumulation; fourthly, savings are embodied in the accumulated assets of different nature. The authors’ own understanding of the concept of «savings of the population» is proposed. The main forms of savings of the population, which are represented by both the financial and the non-financial instruments, are generalized. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of analytical indicators of savings of the population and their role in the formation of the banks’ resources. It is determined that the savings of the population play an exceptionally important role in the formation of the resource base of banks. This is justified by the share of deposits of individuals in the resources of banks, which since 2015 has been steadily growing and at the end of 2019 amounted to 37%. The problematic aspect in the analysis of public savings is the lack of data on their size accumulated by the total. The assessment of the State-based programs of Ukraine showed that they do not focus on the importance and role of savings of the population as a source of investment resources for the development of the economy. The main tendencies and problems that prevent the maximum efficient use of savings of the population for the formation of banks’ resources are allocated.

The article is aimed at modeling the mechanism of the financial security of enterprise in accordance with its functional structural constituents. The role of the enterprise’s financial security is examined in the process of of economic security formation. The main stages of formation of the category of «financial security» are considered. A distinction analysis of the concepts of «economic security of enterprise» and «financial security of enterprise» is carried out, their main differences and common features are defined. The essence of the enterprise’s financial security as part of the enterprise’s economic security is specified. The authors’ own interpretation of the concept of «financial security of enterprise» is presented. The authors’ own approach to modeling the financial security mechanism of enterprise is proposed, its main constituents are defined and the role of each of them in its structure is described. Threats to financial security in the macro- and micro-environment are identified and characterized, and the dependence of the enterprise’s financial security on the financial security of the State is proved. The main stages of managerial activity in the process of building-up the financial security of enterprise are allocated and their relationship with the main goal of enterprise is displayed. The main constituents of formation of the financial security of enterprise are substantiated and the role of the enterprise’s resource provision in this process is identified. The main elements of the enterprise’s resource potential are characterized. Prospects for further research on this issue are studying the impact of the enterprise’s resource provision on its financial security and developnig a mechanism of resource provision for financial security of the State.

The publication is aimed at researching the features of formation and structure of economic potential of the economic development of modern macroeconomic systems. The research used the structural-functional, systemic, integral and logical approaches together with the methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. A formalization of the resource structure of the potential of economic development of modern macroeconomic systems with allocation of defining (mandatory) kinds of resources (wealth) and clarification of their (its) specifics in the concrete historical conditions of society’s living was carried out. The bases of identification of essence and structure of the economic potential of development of the modern macroeconomic systems are clarified by its kinds. The factors of strategic influence on the process of formation of the economic development potential of the modern macroeconomic systems were researched. The value of the carried out research is the improved theoretical approaches to understanding the essence and structure of both the economic potential and the economic development potential of macroeconomic systems. Prospects for further research are the in-depth analysis of the individual components of the resource structure of the economic development potential of macroeconomic systems, especially the imperative types of wealth.

The article considers influence of factors – reasons of origination of crisis phenomena – upon resource potential with the aim of study of management and organisation enterprise development. It identifies that correlation of managed and unmanaged processes at an enterprise is achieved only through correct selection of tactical and strategic orientation, which should take into account specific features of various types of crises, and also the process of their deployment and ways of prevention and elimination. The article generalises influence of factors – reasons of origination of crisis phenomena – upon resource potential with the aim of study of the management and organisation development of an enterprise and building a mechanism. It improves a mechanism of formation of the resource potential of the management and organisation development of an enterprise at tactical and strategic levels. It allowed finding out that managerial impact on formation and maintenance of key factors influences the formation, management and application of the enterprise resource potential.

The goal of the article is development of methodical recommendations regarding assessment of sufficiency of the bank resource potential by means of identification and analysis of all its components and use of the method of rating assessment. Analysing, systemising and generalising scientific works of foreign and Ukrainian scientists, the article considers a complex approach to the bank resource potential management. In the result of the study the article identifies specific features of a complex approach in the bank resource potential management. The method of geometric average and normative values of selected ratios for calculation was used for the generalising complex assessment of sufficiency of the bank resource potential. The rating assessment of the Public JSC Mercury Bank resource potential was calculated by such indicators as: debt, loan and own resources. The stated algorithm of the rating assessment of the resource potential could be applied for comparison of banks in dynamics.

The goal of the article lies in justification of the structure of resource potential of trade enterprises on the basis of allocation of their specific features. Systemising and generalising scientific works of many scientists, the article considers resources of retail trade enterprises and reveals their branch differences. Due to requirements of the economic practice of modern enterprises, the article specifies types of intangible resources of trade enterprises and identifies their role, essence and composition in the resource potential of enterprises. In the result of the study the article justifies structuring the resource potential, which corresponds with the modern tasks of formation, development and assessment of the resource potential of trade enterprises.

The article conducts a comparative assessment of the investment and innovation potential of the leading types of industrial activity of the region with the aim to identify strategic alternatives of development of the investment and innovation activity of the wood processing industry. The methodical basis of the conducted analysis is a combination of the methods of rating and integral assessment of the potential by types of economic activity. In order to follow the principle of comparability of data for types of activity differing in volumes, technologies, sales markets and used resources, the article uses the system of relative indicators of provision and effectiveness of use of production, investment and innovation resources. The results of the conducted study testifies to a certain disproportion of development of the investment and innovation potential of individual types of industrial activity. In particular, the wood processing industry is characterised with a relatively high level of investment potential and low level of innovation potential. It substantiates urgency of formation of a system of measures of activation of innovation activity at the level of the industry on the basis of attraction of investment resources.Проводится сравнительная оценка инвестиционно-инновационного потенциала ведущих видов промышленной деятельности региона с целью определения стратегических альтернатив развития инвестиционно-инновационной деятельности деревообрабатывающей промышленности. Методической основной проведенного анализа выступает сочетание методики рейтинговой и интегральной оценки потенциала по видам экономической деятельности. Для соблюдения принципа сопоставимости данных для разнородных по объемам, технологиям, рынкам сбыта и используемыми ресурсами видов деятельности используется система относительных показателей обеспеченности и эффективности использования производственных, инвестиционных и инновационных ресурсов. Результаты проведенного исследования свидетельствуют об определенной диспропорции развития инвестиционного и инновационного потенциала отдельных видов промышленной деятельности. В частности, деревообрабатывающая промышленность характеризуется относительно высоким уровнем инвестиционного потенциала и низким уровнем инновационного потенциала. Это обусловливает актуальность формирования системы мер активизации инновационной деятельности на уровне отрасли на основе привлечения инвестиционных ресурсов.

The article is devoted to the study of macro-economic indicators of Ukrainian regions. It considers the resource and natural potential and socio-economic development of individual regions, which is a result of the imperfect territorial administration. It analyses main macro-economic indicators of development of regions of the country by geographic division, namely: areas of territories, population, gross regional product of a mega-region, employment and unemployment, and volume of investments. It specifies conditions of stable socio-economic development of each mega-region. It identifies a mechanism of synchronisation of decisions, which is based on self-governing. It offers ways of perfection of the system of administration of territorial socio-economic systems in Ukraine.Статья посвящена исследованию макроэкономических показателей регионов Украины. Рассмотрены ресурсно-природный потенциал и социально-экономическое развитие отдельных регионов, что является результатом несовершенного территориального управления. Проанализированы основные макроэкономические показатели развития регионов страны по географическому разделению, а именно: площадь территорий, численность населения, объем валового регионального продукта мегарегиона, занятость и безработица населения, объем инвестиций. Выделены условия устойчивого социально-экономического развития каждого мегарегиона. Определен механизм синхронизации решений, который базируется на самоуправлении. Предложены пути совершенствования системы управления территориальными социально-экономическими системами в Украине.

The article checks factors of influence on the forms and essence of the production process of the repair utility in the sphere of water supply and drain of a megapolis. It analyses the economic category “resource potential” of a utility. It gives a classification of main types of uncertainties, which are generated by external and internal environment of a company. When considering activity of a company in a certain interval of planning as a multitude of construction and repair projects, the article identifies means of mathematical modelling and solution of tasks of various stages of management of limited resources of a repair utility with consideration of uncertainties. At the stage of planning of a resource potential of a company, these uncertainties are modelled as variables of the characteristics of works of repair and reconstruction projects of a company.Проведено упорядочение факторов влияния на формы и содержание производственного процесса ремонтного коммунального предприятия в сфере водоснабжения и водоотведения мегаполиса. Проанализирована экономическая категория «ресурсный потенциал» коммунального предприятия. Приведена классификация основных типов неопределенностей, которые генерируются внешней и внутренней средой предприятия. При условии рассмотрения деятельности предприятия в определенном интервале планирования как множества ремонтно-строительных проектов определены инструментальные средства математического моделирования и решения задач разных этапов управления ограниченными ресурсами ремонтного предприятия с учетом неопределенности. На этапе планирования ресурсного потенциала предприятия данные неопределенности моделируются как переменные характеристики работ ремонтно-восстановительных проектов предприятия.

This methodical approach is based on research of effective combinations for present resources, exposure the optimum due to the strategic orientation of enterprise.В статье представлен авторский методический подход к экономической оценке ресурсного потенциала промышленного предприятия, который базируется на исследовании вариантов эффективного сочетания имеющихся ресурсов, выявлении оптимального, отвечающего стратегической ориентации предприятия.
