Abstract

The article illustrates how the engagement of African American youth in digital technology culture contribute to their analyses of African American religions and influence their way of living. Focus is given on the religio-cultural and socio-political uses of technologies as intervention to anti-African American violence and death. It explores the influence of digital culture and online social media in the cultivation of African American identities, communities and spiritual practices.
