The article focuses on the dishonesty of workers in the workplace. Based on a study conducted by behavioral economist, Johannes Abeler, and his German colleagues, most people will tell the truth when contacted at their homes by phone rather than when they are elsewhere. According to associate professor David Shulman, lies in the workplace are not antibusiness but is about the interest of getting the job done. Abeler adds that being honest is the core of how one perceives himself.
