The article reports a study which examined the effectiveness of post-diagnosis treatment and coordination of care for patients with dementia and their caregivers by memory clinics compared with care provided by general practitioners. The results revealed that there was no difference with regard to post-diagnosis treatment and coordination of care for patients with dementia between memory clinics and general practitioners.
