Summary: Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by isolated thrombocytopenia. This bibliometric analysis was applied to identify the characteristics of global scientific output, the hotspots, and frontiers of ITP over the past 10 years. We retrieved publications from 2011 to 2021 from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). Bibliometrix package, VOSviewer, and Citespace were used to analyse and visualize the trend, distribution, and hotspots of research on ITP. Altogether, there were 2084 papers, written by 9080 authors from 410 organizations in 70 countries/regions, published in 456 journals with 37 160 co‐cited references. In the last decades, the most productive journal was British Journal of Haematology, China was the most productive country. and the most cited journal was Blood. Shandong University was the most productive institution in the field of ITP. NEUNERT C, 2011, BLOOD, CHENG G, 2011, LANCET, and PATEL VL, 2012, BLOOD were the top three most cited documents. "Thrombopoietin receptor agonist", "regulatory T cell" and "sialic acid" were three hotspots of the last decade. And "immature platelet fraction", "Th17", and "fostamatinib" would be research frontiers in the feature. Summary: Antinuclear antibody (ANA) can be positive in children with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), but the effect of ANA titre and its variation on outcomes of children with primary ITP remains unclear. Here, we conducted a single‐centre retrospective cohort study of children with primary ITP at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital in China. A total of 324 children with primary ITP included in this study were followed for a median time of 25 months. In this cohort, 39.2% had an ANA titre of 1:160 or higher. Results from a generalized estimating equation model revealed that patients with higher ANA titres had lower platelet counts at onset but a higher recovery rate of subsequent platelet counts. Results from Cox regression models adjusted for potential confounders revealed that patients with ANA titres of 1:160 or more were more likely to develop to autoimmune disease (AID) than those without, and the risk of AID development increased with the rise of ANA titres (p value for trend less than 0.001). Summary: To investigate the current experience and expertise for haemophilia inhibitor patient management in haemophilia treatment centres (HTCs) in mainland China. Questionnaires were distributed to 'tertiary tier A' hospital HTCs across China to collect information on treatment preferences for bleeding control, prophylaxis and inhibitor eradication, as well as their regimens in real‐world clinical practice. Of 40 questionnaires distributed, 39 were returned. In all, 38 were analysable for treatment preferences and 34 for actual clinical practice. For haemostatic treatment, 76·3% (29/38) HTCs preferred activated recombinant human Factor VII (rFVIIa). In clinical practice, the most widely used by‐pass agent was prothrombin complex concentrate (26 HTCs). Although 65·8% (25/38) of HTCs believed prophylaxis treatment was necessary, it was prescribed in only 12. Similarly, 65·8% (25/38) of HTCs believed immune tolerance induction (ITI) therapy was necessary but only 14·8% (92/622) of patients in 19 HTCs received low‐dose ITI treatment. HTCs in relatively economically developed cities (with higher‐than‐average per‐capita gross domestic product) had better access to haemostatic treatment, coagulation testing and were more likely to provide prophylaxis and ITI in practice. The present survey showed there were gaps in haemophilia inhibitor care between the HTC physicians' preferences and their actual clinical practice. Summary: Acquired haemophilia A (AHA) is a rare haemorrhagic disorder caused by autoantibodies directed against the functional epitopes of coagulation factor VIII (FVIII). Its management relies on prompt diagnosis, control of bleeding and eradication of the inhibitor by immunosuppression. China Acquired Hemophilia Registry (CARE), a nationwide multicentre registry, was intended to survey the status of AHA and standardize its diagnosis and therapy in China. One hundred and eighty‐seven registered patients had an average age of 52 years. Diagnosis was delayed in 46·5% patients. There was a significant delay from diagnosis to immunosuppressive therapy in 68·3% patients. Bleeding control was significantly higher in patients treated with prothrombin complex concentrate (PCC) versus FVIII replacement therapy (84·6% vs. 34·4%; P < 0·001). Inhibitor eradication with a combination of steroids and cyclophosphamide showed a higher partial remission (PR) rate (92·2% vs. 70·3%) and stable complete remission (CR) rate (82·8% vs. 48·6%) than with steroids alone. Logistic regression model showed age and malignancy were significantly related to survival at final follow‐up. The mean age for the survivors [51 years (IQR, 35–65 years)] was significantly lower than that of the non‐survivors [79 years (IQR, 67–86 years)] (P < 0·001). Overall survival was higher in non‐malignancy group than malignancy group (94·9% vs. 70%) (OR = 1·313; 95% CI, 0·913–1·889, P = 0·015). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
