Abstract

Using liquid secondary ion mass spectrometry, we in situ unraveled that the single walled carbon nanotubes-modified gold electrode surface is free of a dense adsorption phase and abundant in water molecules, which facilitated the electro-oxidation reaction of ascorbate.
