Abstract

The article discusses the stochastic modeling of catalytic reaction-diffusion processes in nonporous materials and 2D surface. Topics discussed include analysis of basic irreversible first-order conversion reaction in a 1D linear nanopore, multi-site lattice gas modeling of oxidation reactions on metal catalyst surfaces at low pressure and analysis of catalytic reactions on metal oxide surfaces.
