Abstract

The article discusses a study on the effect of club cell secretory protein (CCSP) as a therapeutic strategy to restore the balance between injury and repair in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Topics covered include the method for obtaining endobronchial biopsy specimens, the findings of the morphometric analysis of the initial EBB, and the potential use of exogenous recombinant human CCSP (rhCCSP) exogenous supplementation for COPD patients.
