The secondary outfitting work of the immersed tube needs to be carried out in a floating state. The measuring tower is an important outfitting part in the secondary outfitting. Its calibration of the precise position of pipe sections is related to the success of the floating installation of the immersed tube. Since the pipe sections are floating on the sea surface, it poses a huge challenge to the calibration of the measuring tower. In this paper, the calibration methods of measuring towers in the floating state of five pipe sections were introduced, and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed, and the calibration methods used in the Dalian Bay subsea tunnel project were analyzed. The results show that the accuracy of the GNSS synchronization calibration method can reach 2 cm on the plane, and that of total station floating calibration method can reach 1 cm on the plane, which meets engineering needs. Based on the engineering practice of the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge immersed tube tunnel through survey, we analyzed control network design, the implementation of the precision of estimation and improve the precision through survey technology in order to guarantee the immersed tube tunnel horizontal precision through. With the improvement of the accuracy of multi-beam bathymetric survey, multi-beam survey is more and more used in underwater engineering construction. At the present stage, most of the orientation device of the multi-beam system is gyrocompass. This paper, through the studies on SPS361 and gyrocompasses heading output and bathymetric data, verifies the feasibility of using SPS361 instead of gyrocompasses from a practical point of view, which is meanwhile used in the island & tunnel project of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. With the improvement of the accuracy of the multi-beam bathymetry and seafloor subgrade pavement, multi-beam plays an increasing role in the monitoring of the seafloor subgrade pavement. Taking the deepwater gravel subgrade pavement of the Hongkong-Zhuhai-macao Bridge island & tunnel project as an example, we introduced a huge role about the multi-beam at the shallow point analysis on gravel subgrade leveling and the siltation monitoring analysis, which can provide references for similar projects. Taking the river-crossing leveling from the survey platform to artificial island of the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge island and tunnel project as an example, we introduced the point layout, sighting board production, observation process, and precision analysis of the optical micrometry method during river-crossing leveling.
