Based on the invariance of differential equations under infinitesimal transformations of group, Lie symmetries, exact invariants, perturbation to the symmetries and adiabatic invariants in form of non-Noether for a Lagrange system are presented. Firstly, the exact invariants of generalized Hojman type led directly by Lie symmetries for a Lagrange system without perturbations are given. Then, on the basis of the concepts of Lie symmetries and higher order adiabatic invariants of a mechanical system, the perturbation of Lie symmetries for the system with the action of small disturbance is investigated, the adiabatic invariants of generalized Hojman type for the system are directly obtained, the conditions for existence of the adiabatic invariants and their forms are proved. Finally an example is presented to illustrate these results.

In this paper, a new computational method for improving the accuracy of numerically computed solutions is introduced. The computational method is based on the one-step method and conserved quantities of holonomic systems are considered as kinematical constraints in this method.

Firstly, the concept of higher order adiabatic invariants of the system is proposed. Secondly, the conditions for existence of the exact invariants and adiabatic invariants are proved and their forms are given. Thirdly, we study the inverse problems of the perturbation to symmetries of the system. An example is presented to illustrate these results.

Firstly, the concept of higher-order adiabatic invariants of the singular Lagrange system is proposed. Then, the conditions for the existence of the exact invariants and adiabatic invariants are proved and their forms are given. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate these results.

In this paper, the existence of periodic orbits and the non-existence of limit cycles for the second-order autonomous Birkhoff system are studied. Further the existence of algebraic limit cycles for a generalized second-order autonomous Birkhoff system is studied.

We have studied the algebraic structure of the dynamical equations of a rotational relativistic Birkhoff system. It is proven that autonomous and semi-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equations possess consistent algebraic structure and Lie algebraic structure. In general, non-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equations possess no algebraic structure, but a type of special non-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equation possesses consistent algebraic structure and consistent Lie algebraic structure. Then, we obtain the Poisson integrals of the dynamical equations of the rotational relativistic Birkhoff system. Finally, we give an example to illustrate the application of the results.

Chaotic behaviour in a second-order autonomous Birkhoff system with a heteroclinic circle under weakly periodic perturbation is studied using the Melnikov method. The equations of heteroclinic orbits and the criteria for chaos are given. One example is also presented to illustrate the application of the results.

The theory of symmetry for a rotational relativistic Birkhoff system is studied. In terms of the invariance of the rotational relativistic Pfaff-Birkhoff-D'Alembert principle under infinitesimal transformations, the Noether symmetries and conserved quantities of a rotational relativistic Birkhoff system are given. In terms of the invariance of rotational relativistic Birkhoff equations under infinitesimal transformations, the Lie symmetries and conserved quantities of the rotational relativistic Birkhoff system are given.

A system of first-order differential equations is expressed in the form of first-order Lagrange equations. Based on the theory of symmetries and conserved quantities of first-order Lagrange systems, the perturbation to the symmetries and adiabatic invariants of first-order Lagrange systems are discussed. Firstly, the concept of higher-order adiabatic invariants of the first-order Lagrange system is proposed. Then, conditions for the existence of the exact and adiabatic invariants are proved and their forms are given. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate these results.

The Birkhoffian and Birkhoff's functions of a rotational relativistic system are constructed, the Pfaff action of rotational relativistic system is defined, the Pfaff-Birkhoff principle of a rotational relativistic system is given and the Pfaff-Birkhoff-D'Alembert principles and Birkhoff's equations of rotational relativistic system are constructed. The geometrical description of a rotational relativistic system is studied and the exact properties of Birkhoff's equations and their forms on ×T*M for a rotational relativistic system are obtained. The global analysis of Birkhoff's equations for a rotational relativistic system is studied, the global properties of autonomous, semi-autonomous and non-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff's equations and the geometrical properties of energy change for rotational relativistic Birkhoff's equations are given.

After a Birkhoff system is restricted by constraints, the determining equations, the Lie symmetries, the structure equation and the form of conserved quantities corresponding to the Lie symmetries will change. Some Lie symmetries will disappear and under certain conditions some Lie symmetries will still remain present. The conditions under which Lie symmetries and conserved quantities of the system will remain are given.

Non-conservative forces are exerted on a Lagrange system. Their effects on Lie symmetries, structure equation and conserved quantities of the system are studied. It can be seen that some Lie symmetries disappear and some new Lie symmetries emerge. Under certain conditions, some Lie symmetries will still remain present.
