The excitation condition of reversed shear Alfvén eigenmodes (RSAEs) has been investigated during sawtooth-like oscillation in the EAST tokamak. The sawtooth-like phenomena can be reproduced in the configuration of reversed magnetic shear, and the threshold gradient of electron temperature is formed accordingly, together with the increasing of the confinement of thermal particles. The distribution function of energetic ions density is altered dramatically when the neutral beam is switched from NBI1L (tangent) to NBI1R (perpendicular), which can be captured by the measurement of radial neutron camera. The RSAEs are excited easily in the vicinity of q min (1.99 m ≤ R ≤ 2.06 m) for the injection of neutral beam with perpendicular direction, which should be excited by the steep gradient of energetic ions density. Furthermore, the excitation of RSAEs and the formation of threshold gradient of electron temperature can take place concurrently, which means that the neutral beam with perpendicular injection is beneficial for the establishment of internal transport barrier.

The structural evolution of nanostructured ?-Ni-28Fe alloy (n-Ni-Fe) (grain size d~30?nm), synthesized by the mechno-chemical method, was investigated by using the internal friction technique combined with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in the temperature range from 300?K to 670?K. An internal friction peak with typical characteristics of the first-order phase transition was observed in the vicinity of 620?K, which corresponds to a broad exothermic process revealed by using DSC. These results can be explained as the structural changes from the disordering to the ordering transition in the n-Ni-Fe sample.

If the universe consisted of domains of matter and antimatter, annihilations of e+-e- at the domain interface in the recombination time would leave an imprint on the x-ray band due to the high redshift. We found five ROSAT sources with the 0.36 keV spectral line, especially the source 1RXP J005510-3738.8 has a single sharp spectral line almost without a continuous spectrum. It is hard to be produced by any mechanism except the annihilations of e+-e-.

Quantum cosmology with complex 6 fields at finite temperature for the Vilenkin boundary conditions and Hartle-Hawking boundary conditions has been studied in this paper. The corresponding Wheeler-DeWitt equations and the Universe wave functions are obtained. At the same time, the probability density distribution is calculated and the effect of temperature on probability density distribution is found.

Magic wavelengths for laser trapping of barium atoms in the optical lattices are calculated with considering the optical clock transition at 1107 nm between the 6s2 1S0 state and 6s5d 3D1 state. Theoretical calculation shows that there are several magic wavelengths with the linearly polarized trapping laser. The trap depths of the optical lattice and the slope of light shift difference with different magic wavelengths are also calculated. Some of these magic wavelengths are selected and recommended as potentially suitable magic wavelengths for the optical lattice trapping laser.

Special flow mechanism and percolation characteristics for gas transport are presented in nanoporous media, which cannot be explained by the traditional motion equation of Darcy's law. On the basis of theoretical analysis, we establish a low velocity nonlinear transfer equation of gas in nanoporous media and a mathematical model of gas volume flow in multi-scale porous media. By utilizing nonlinear numerical calculation methodology, a detailed quantitative analysis of the diffusion and convective rate of gas flow is presented, providing a theoretical foundation for the development of nanoporous media.

Dynamic evolutions of the quantum discord and entanglement between two charge qubits located inside a damped cavity are demonstrated analytically. It is found that with cavity dissipation, the dynamics of the quantum discord between two qubits is sensitive to the degree of mixing of the initial qubits' state. This is different from steady entanglement, which is independent of the degree of mixing of the initial state of the qubits.

A new organic-inorganic hybrid material doped with BDK that exhibits a large photo-induced change in optical properties is prepared by the sol-gel method. The photosensitivity of the film under ultraviolet irradiation is investigated with various exposure times. An increase in refractive index from 1.558 to 1.592 at λ = 550 nm is observed together with a 57.3% expansion in physical thickness. The film's optical thickness exhibits an exponential change with the irradiation time. The photo-decomposition of BDK organic groups confirmed by the infrared absorption spectrum contributes to the photosensitive mechanism. A first example of photo-patterning is finally presented by direct light writing.

Polycrystalline K2AgI3 is synthesized by solid-state reaction at 403K using AgI and KI as starting materials. X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence (PL) spectra, photoluminescence excitation (PLE) spectra, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and absorption spectra are employed to investigate the structure and photo-physical properties of such material. A broad luminescence band centered at about 608nm at 180K with large Stokes shift is found. When the temperature rises to about 300K, an obvious PL blue-shift, PL intersity weakening, and an emission band broadening are observed. It is suggested that the emission at about 608nm may originate from the recombination of self-trapped excitons.
