An interview with Stuart Macintyre, chair of Australian Studies at Harvard University, is presented. Macintyre discusses possible results from the 2007 election of a Labor Party government, led by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, in Australia. He discusses Aboriginal policy, the government version of Australian history, and how these will change with the end of former Prime Minister John Howard's tenure. He notes the possibility that Rudd will attempt to turn Australia into a republic.
