Abstract

The article discusses the results of the survey concerning the effectiveness of performance-based assessment (PBA) in undergraduate medical education in Great Britain. The researchers had examined the experiences and opinions of medical students and teachers on employing PBA. It was revealed that direct observation could improve the validity and reliability of clinical competence assessments.
