The purpose of this paper is twofold. Firstly, certain common fixed point theorems are established via φ-contractive multivalued mappings involving point-dependent control functions as coefficients in the framework of complex valued metric spaces. Our results improve and extend several results in the existing literature. Moreover, this section is equipped by some illustrative examples in support of our results. Secondly, we point out some slip-ups in the examples of some recent papers based on multivalued contractive mappings in complex valued metric spaces. In this paper, we investigate the fixed points of multi-valued contractions constructed by manageable functions in order to extend the theory of multi-valued contractions and introduce a new fixed point result in the set of multi-valued mappings which generalize Liu's result as a simple corollary of our main result. Fixed point theory is one of the most powerful tools in nonlinear analysis. The Banach contraction principle is the simplest and most versatile elementary result in fixed point theory. The principle has many applications and was extended by several authors. In this paper, we introduce a concept of α-ψ-contractive type mappings and establish fixed point theorems for such mappings in complete fuzzy metric spaces. Starting from the Banach contraction principle, the presented theorems are the extension, generalization, and improvement of many existing results in the literature. In this paper, we present fixed point theorems for a generalized Roger Hardy type F-contraction in metric-like spaces and also give some examples to illustrate the main results in this paper. In this paper, we obtain some results on common best proximity points for non-self mappings between two subsets of complex valued b-metric spaces. For this purpose, first we generalize some well-known results that were proved in classic metric spaces on complex valued b-metric space by some new definitions. Second we present a type of contractive condition and develop a common best proximity point theorem for non-self mappings in complex-valued b-metric spaces. In this paper, we provide characterization of the non-emptiness of the solution set for several kinds of generalized vector equilibrium problems. Using generalized KKM theorems, some sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the existence results of these problems. Some illustrative examples are also given. In the present paper, we introduce the notion of A-cone metric spaces over Banach algebra as a generalization of A-metric spaces and cone metric spaces over Banach algebra. We also defined generalized Lipschitz and expansive maps in such maps and establish some fixed point theorems for such maps in the setting of the new space.
