Flexibility and creativity are noted as necessary skills and one-on-one student instruction, instant messaging (IM) appointments, and use of alternative library instruction techniques that are not heavily dependent on technology are suggested. She also mentions student and faculty concerns regarding library renovations and advises addressing them directly.
