A network operator's approach in the design, construction and maintance of interconnected Intelligent Network utilizes the monitoring of the correct feature behavior of signals traveling in the network. Feature interaction and their attending problems are corrected by comparing the deviation of the signature signal and making corresponding corrections. This entails a predictive element that assesses the probability of occurence of types of feature interactions and in cases where this is not possible a default call recovery system is utilized to restore the transmission to a known state.
