1. Monolithic KTP Raman Oscillator as a Supercontinuum Source

Abstract

We report generation of octave-spanning supercontinuum from a high-gain, ultra-broadband, and mirrorless Raman oscillator in a monolithic KTP crystal. The supercontinuum output contains two spectral groups between 540~750 and 1095~1800 nm.

Abstract

We report highly efficient stimulated polariton scattering near 4 THz with a parametric gain overtaking the well-known one near 1.8-THz in lithium niobate by using an off-axis parametric oscillator resonating the THz wave.

We report generation of 1.15-mJ/pulse energy at 1064 nm from a single-transverse-mode Nd:YAG laser pumped by 13-mJ energy in a 1-ms pulse width from an array of 750-nm LED dies.

Abstract

We show superior terahertz parametric generation from potassium titanyl phosphate over lithium niobate and lithium tantalate, and demonstrate seeded parametric amplification in KTP with a ~5W peak output power at 5.7 THz.
