The problem of controlling crimes has been regarded mostly from the point of what should be changed and done in order to obtain efficient results. This paper argues that the changes are not enough for creating an efficient strategy for dealing with the offences committed by children. Strategies for crime control are more complex and include also the changes appeared lately in criminal justice and juvenile justice. The ways in which these strategies are designed differ from state to state even if the purpose is the same: to control the offences committed by juveniles. This article brings in attention useful information concerning the strategies of controlling children's crimes used by Romanian and Spanish juvenile justice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
