- Abstract
SAM ALLARDYCE has stated his interest in becoming Everton's next manager and would relish the chance to 'put the team back together'. Everton are continuing to take their time in finding Ronald Koeman's permanent successor and David Unsworth will see out the next two games before the international break. They are in the bottom three after a dreadful start to the season, and Allardyce believes he has the expertise to get them out of trouble. 'Who knows? I'd have to consider that, if that phone call happens,' he said. 'I've been in this position a number of times in the last three clubs I've had and I just put the team back to basics.'
