This article analyzes the current status of carbon emission statistical accounting system construction both domestically and internationally, analyzes the six major trends in the changes in carbon emission characteristics of electricity under the construction of new power systems, and based on this, proposes a framework for carbon emission statistical accounting system under the new power system, providing basic support for improving electricity carbon emission accounting and carrying out carbon emission control.

This research scrutinizes the non-cooperative bidding strategies of power generation firms within the integrated electricity and carbon market framework. It aims to furnish pivotal insights for market strategy formulation and underpin policy development toward a greener power sector. Key innovations include a non-cooperative game model elucidating the interplay and competitive conduct among power providers in dual markets, alongside an empirical analysis showcasing how strategic bidding influences economic and environmental outcomes. This study significantly contributes to understanding market dynamics in promoting sustainable and environmentally sound power systems.

Accurate accounting of indirect carbon emissions from electricity is conducive to motivating market entities to proactively and voluntarily reduce emissions, fairly promoting regional emissions reductions, and accelerating the formation of green and low-carbon consumption models. Based on the analysis of the problems faced by China's power carbon emission accounting, this paper considers different transaction types such as market-based electricity consumption, priority power purchase, and power grid agency power purchase, and proposes an indirect carbon emission accounting method for enterprise power sources based on power transaction data. The effectiveness of the proposed model and method is verified through case calculations for high-energy-consuming enterprises. The method proposed in this article can accurately describe the power consumption structure of enterprises and effectively encourage market entities to proactively and voluntarily reduce emissions.

As China's electricity market develops rapidly in recent years, market evaluation turns out to be more necessary than before to make a comprehensive evaluation of market construction and operation, and ensure a fair and health electricity market. In this study, the international experience of market monitoring and assessment is firstly summarized. Then considering the feature of China's inter-provincial power market, the evaluation index system is proposed for the operation effectiveness of inter-provincial electricity market. At last, a case of comparing the short-term and long-term inter-provincial market modes is presented to validate the proposed market evaluation index system.
