Abstract

The article offers information on designing a capacitive sensor touch interface. It mentions that tuning was an important process for ensuring correct and consistent sensor functions, which could be achieved through the identification of optimum values for a set of sensor parameters in maintaining a sufficient signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and finger threshold. Moreover, capacitive-sensor performance was impacted by sensor capacitance changes.
