It discusses the Northern Ireland peace deal as a lesson that Palestinians and Jews in Israel can learn from it.

The authors argue that the American mainstream media has ignored the ceasefire violation committed by Israel when it did not report Israeli attacks on Hamas in Gaza Strip on November 4, 2008. They believed that the incidence was unreported because media was focused on covering the November 4 U.S. presidential election. They said that the incidence was a provocation for Hamas to launch counter-attacks, as well as break the Egyptian-mediated ceasefire.
