Abstract

An adaptive precoding scheme with efficient joint processing (JP) is proposed for the downlink coordinated multi‐point transmission system. This scheme selects one JP technique and one precoding technique according to channel state information from the user equipment. The system‐level simulation results show that the bit error rate performance of the proposed scheme is better than that of the conventional scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
