Abstract

The article describes the case of a 61-year-old woman who was presented with vomiting and progressive weight loss and explains the importance of performing endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA) of pancreatic head lesions. It discusses histoplasma, its natural habitat and clinical manifestations of histoplasmosis. Images of the computed tomography scan and endoscopic ultrasound results are presented.
