Philbyella aculeata sp. n. is described from Fujairah Emirate (UAE) in the northeastern Arabian Peninsula. This species differs from the other members of the genus Philbyella China in the presence of a pair of spiniform triangular processes on the posterior margin of the male pygofer and in the style with a massive capitulum without the neck.

Four new species of the bristletail families Ateluridae (Atelura abkhazica sp. n. and Nipponatelurina caucasica sp. n.) and Lepismatidae (Lepisma xylophila sp. n. and L. adygei sp. n.) are described. Atelura abkhazica sp. n. differs from the other species of the genus Atelura in a smaller size, smaller number of ovipositor divisions, in the presence of apical sensory cones on the male parameres, which are absent in the other species of the genus, and in a fewer number of lateral pegs on urotergite X. The genus Nipponatelurina comprises two species (N. kurosai Mendes et Machida, 1994 and N. caucasica sp. n.). The distinguishing features of N. caucasica sp. n. include a significant number of short minute thin cilia on the head capsule, a longer ultimate segment of the maxillary palp, and a fewer number of setae at the posterior margin of urosternites IV–VII. Lepisma xylophila sp. n. differs from L. saccharinum and L. chlorosoma in the distribution of epidermic pigment and in the urotergites chaetom. Lepisma adygei sp. n. is most closely related to the synanthropic species L. saccharinum, but differs in the size of the body, color of scales on the upper surface of the body, and in the structure of the labial palps, urotergite X, ovipositor, and parameres.

A new species of the genus Cranopygia Burr, 1908 (Dermaptera, Pygidicranidae), C. crockeri sp. n., is described from North Borneo, Sabah State. Cranopygia crockeri sp. n. differs from the congeners in a peculiar structure of the virga and metaparameres and in strongly reduced wings. A detailed morphological description of the new species is given.

A new species, Meloe (Meloe) kulabensis sp. n., is described from southwestern Tajikistan (Kulob, = Kulyab). The new species is characterized by rather slender legs with an almost straight middle tibia, comparatively long and narrow tarsi, the 1st segment of the hind tarsus almost 5 times as long as wide, a comparatively large transverse eye diameter (the distance between the eyes are 3 times the transverse eye diameter), a free (not merging) punctation, and a peculiar structure of the male genitalia. Similarly to Meloe ovalicollis Reitt., the new species bears a narrow brush of short and not dense hairs on the ventral surface of the 1st-4th segments of the fore tarsus. Meloe ovalicollis is recorded for the first time for Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

Larvae of Larinus fucatus Faust, 1891, L. capsulatus Gultekin, 2008, and Larinus sp. aff. leuzeae Fabre, 1870 are described for the first time. The larvae differ in the pattern on the head capsule, in the shape of the endocarinal line, and in the chaetotaxy of the epicranium, frons, and segments of the body, as well as in the presence or absence of stemmata. A key to larvae of 11 Larinus species is provided.

Thorictus gibbosus sp. n. can be distinguished from T. foveicollis Rtt. by a very strongly convex basal part of the pronotum, the presence of two deep depressions near its basal margin, and in the shape of the humeral prominences and thoracic trichomes. T. medvedevi sp. n. differs from the two above species in the shape of the body, the presence of fine carinae near the pronotal depressions, the shape of the thoracic trichomes. T. medvedevi additionally differs from T. gibbosus in the shape of the humeral prominences and the less strongly convex basal part of the pronotum.

A new monotypic subgenus, Premicrodispulus subgen. n., with the type species Premicrodispus reductus sp. n., and four new species of the nominative subgenus of the mite genus Premicrodispus, P. (Premicrodispus) paradoxus sp. n., P. (P.) heterocaudatus sp. n., P. (P.) obtusisetosus sp. n., and P. (P.) incisus sp. n., collected in soils of Turkmenistan are described. The subgenus Premicrodispulus subgen. n. differs from the nominative subgenus in the presence of 3 setae on genu I (seta l″ absent) and 1 seta on genu II (setae d and l″ absent). Premicrodispus (Premicrodispus) paradoxus sp. n. differs from all the species of the genus in the presence of solenidion on tarsus III. P. (P.) heterocaudatus sp. n. is most similar to P. longisetosus (Mahunka, 1970), but differs in the setae ps3 distinctly longer than ps1 (in P. longisetosus, ps3 and ps1 are similar in length). P. (P.) obtusisetosus sp. n. is most similar to P. montanus Khaustov, 2006, but differs in obtuse setae c1, e, and f (in P. montanus, these setae are pointed); P. (P.) incisus sp. n. is most closely related to P. longisetosus (Mahunka, 1970), but differs in the presence of distinct excavations on the posterior margin of tergites C and D (in P. longisetosus, excavations are absent).

The adults of both sexes and the eggs of a new species, Alloperla tiunovae sp. n. (Plecoptera, Chloroperlidae) from the southern part of the Russian Far East, are described and illustrated. A. tiunovae is a sibling species of the very similar A. kurilensis Zhiltzova, but differs from it in the shape of the epiproct apex, female genital plate, and a fine structure of the chorion surface.

A taxonomic review of seven species of Diplocheila of the Far East of Russia and adjacent lands is given. Three species are known from the Russian Far East, two of which, D. zeelandica Redt. and D. minima Jedl., are recorded from Russia for the first time. A key to the East Asian species is presented. Composition and diagnoses of subgenera are discussed. The subgenus Submera Habu is restored.

Original illustrated keys to 4 genera and 25 species of the subfamily Nomiinae (Halictidae) from Russia and adjacent countries are given, including Nomiapis Cockerell (9 species), Pseudapis W.F. Kirby (11), Nomia Latreille (2), and Lipotriches Gerstacker (3). In addition to the external morphology, characters of the male genitalia are used and illustrated.

The ranges of eight species [Fallenia fasciata (Fabricius, 1805), Neorhynchocephalus tauscheri (Fischer, 1812), Nemestrinus caucasicus (Fischer, 1806), N. bombiformis Portschinsky, 1892, N. brandti (Bequaert, 1938), N. laetus obscuripennis (Portschinsky, 1887), N. reticulatus Latreille, 1802, and Trichopsidea costata (Loew, 1875)] from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus are discussed. With the exception of Nemestrinus caucasicus, the other species are rare in the territory studied; their latest findings are referred to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. These species should be considered as endangered species and included into the Red Data Books of the corresponding regions. N. obscuripennis (Portschinsky, 1887) is regarded as a Caucasian-Anatolian subspecies of N. laetus (Loew, 1873) basing on the study of lecto-and paratypes of the former. A key for identification of the genera and species considered is given.

Three new species of the genus Menimus are described from Yunnan Province, China. Over 70 species of Menimus are distributed in the tropical and subtropical zones from India to Oceania and New Zealand. A new subgenus, Sinomenimus subgen. n., is erected with the type species M. kabaki sp. n. characterized by the absence of eyes and by the presence of the spermatheca and sharp depression at the posterior margin of the thoracic metasternite. The following new synonymy is established: Menimus Sharp, 1876 = Neomenimus Kaszab, 1939, syn. n., with the following new combinations resulting: Menimus clavatus (Kaszab, 1939) = Neomenimus clavatus Kaszab, 1939, comb, n.; Menimus biroi (Kaszab, 1939) = Neomenimus biroi Kaszab, 1939, comb, n.; Menimus setosus (Kaszab, 1939) = Neomenimus setosus Kaszab, 1939, comb, n.; Menimus brevissimus (Kaszab, 1939) = Neomenimus brevissimus Kaszab, 1939, comb. n.

A new species of the formerly monotypical genus Incasa Gnezdilov et O’Brien, 2008 belonging to the tribe Issini is described from Peru. A key to species of Incasa is provided.

A new capsid-bug species, Phytocoris (Soosocapsus) luppovae sp. n. closely related to Ph. turkestanicus Popp., is described from Kazakhstan.

A new species, Leptopus marusiki Vinokurov, sp. n., of the family Leptopodidae is described from northern India (Himachal Pradesh State). The new species is closely related to the Western Palaearctic L. hispanus Rambur, 1840, which is distinguished by a dark transverse spot on the apical part of the corium and the pale colored femora. The known Indian Leptopus species are distributed in the south and characterized by the following features: L. decus Drake, 1955 has the brown body and long 1st antennal segment; the lower part of the head of L. scutulus Drake, 1954 bears 4 very long spines, the fore femur bears 2 rows of very long spines (5 in each row). L. travancorensis Distant, 1910 differs in the paler coloration; the 1st and 2nd antennal segments, collar and posterior margin of the pronotum, and legs are ochreous.

A new species, Dienerella kerzhneri, was described from Kazakhstan. Four species are recorded from new localities: Enicmus atriceps Hansen (recorded from Belarus), Melanophthalma sericea (Mann.) and Migneauxia crassiuscula (Aube) (the Ukraine), and Corticarina obfuscata Strand (the Caucasus).
