The extensive utilization of IoT applications leads to the aggregation of a substantial volume of data, presenting a crucial challenge in terms of data routing within these networks. RPL intentionally surpasses the limitations sometimes observed in low-power and lossy networks, which are particularly prevalent in IoT networks. The RPL protocol is designed specifically for static networks that do not involve mobility or topological changes. The RPL protocol guarantees continuous connectivity between nodes and mitigates the risk of data loss in stationary IoT applications that do not involve mobility or alterations in network configuration. The article utilizes a mobility aid technology known as network performance stability using the intelligent routing protocol (nPSIR), which expands upon RPL. The Mobility Support Entity (nPSIR) facilitates the displacement of all nodes, with the exception of the root node, and ensures uninterrupted connection during mobility. Moreover, it deals with the situation where there is a physical barrier between two interconnected nodes in a changing environment. In order to achieve this objective, it employs a dynamic trickle timer that operates within two distinct ranges. Furthermore, it utilizes a neighbor link quality table, a mechanism for selecting the most beneficial parent node in the event of migration, a measure of confidence, the identification of crucial regions, and a blacklist. Multiple simulations validate that nPSIR effectively decreases hand-off delay and improves packet delivery, despite the minor drawbacks of increased signaling costs and power consumption. With the widespread use of wireless sensor networks, one of the most pressing concerns is extending the lifetime of the sensors. By deploying directional antenna arrays, millimeter wave (mmWave) is a possible candidate for wireless energy transfer (WPT). This paper investigates a beneficial combination of WPT and data transmission in a typical mmWave sensor network with Rayleigh channels, where a transmission interval can be divided into two sub-intervals. During the first sub-interval, one hybrid access point (HAP) employs beamforming techniques to transfer energy for serving multiple sensors within the service sector. The sensors then transmit their individual signal in turn to the HAP based on time division multiple address (TDMA) strategy by using the whole harvested energy. According to stochastic geometry, the exact and approximate expressions of beam outage probability for the considered system are determined, respectively. The optimal time allocation of energy harvesting and data transmission for sensors is examined in order to maximize the energy efficiency of the system. The optimization problem can be translated into corresponding parametric form, and the resulting optimization problem can be solved using the Lagrange dual method with Karush–Kuhn–Tucker (KKT) conditions. The numerical results show the variation trend of the beam outage probability under various parameters and verify the accuracy of the theoretical analyses. Furthermore, the simulation results illustrate that the proposed optimal time allocation strategy can significantly enhance the overall energy efficiency of the system compared with a similar scheme. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are used in many different fields. One of the most recent and rapidly expanding applications is the Internet of Things (IoT), which enables the connectivity of numerous objects or devices over the Internet. However, WSNs have a bigger concern about battery power than mobile ad hoc networks, which shortens the network's lifetime. As a result, extensive research has been done on lowering WSNs' energy usage. Designing a hierarchical clustering algorithm is one of many methods for lowering the energy consumption of WSNs. Given the restricted hardware capabilities of the sensor nodes, modeling and building energy-efficient routing solutions to enhance the overall network lifetime has emerged as one of the most crucial approaches in wireless sensor networks. Cluster-based heterogeneous routing protocols, a typical feature of routing technology, have demonstrated efficacy in managing topology, energy consumption, data collection or fusion, dependability, or stability in distributed sensor networks. The existing Distributed Energy-Efficient Clustering (DEEC) clustering protocol is changed in this study by switching the power level between the nodes and adding a threshold limit for cluster head selection. The number of packets sent to a base station increases by 843% when comparing the proposed improved DEEC protocol to the existing DEEC protocol, increasing the number of living nodes to more than 10,000 rounds, or over 30,000 rounds, which can be used to extend the WSN lifetime. The suggested algorithm outperforms alternative energy-efficient protocols in terms of stability period and network lifetime under various scenarios of area, energy, and node density. As one of the basic supporting technologies of 5G system, wireless sensor networks technology is facing a new challenge to improve its transmission energy efficiency. This paper considers combining simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) technique and routing technique, and applying them to multi-hop clustered wireless sensor networks (MCWSN), where each node can decode information and harvest energy from a received radio-frequency signal. And the relay nodes in MCWSN can utilize the harvest energy to forward data to their next hop nodes according to the routing scheme. First, we formulate an energy-efficient routing problem of MCWSN with SWIPT. Then, a heuristic energy efficient cooperative SWIPT routing algorithm (EECSR) is presented to find a transmission path with the maximum energy efficiency. Specifically, in EECSR, the resource allocation problem in each hop of the path is transformed to some equivalent convex optimization problems, which are resolved via dual decomposition. Moreover, a distributed routing protocol based on EECSR is proposed. As far as we know, this is the first solution that considers energy efficiency optimization based on routing and SWIPT in MCWSN. Simulation results show that our EECSR algorithm has high energy efficiency and good robustness. And our distributed routing protocol has better real-time performance than traditional protocols. APTEEN is a typical routing protocol for wireless sensor networks, but when clustering, cluster heads are randomly selected, which makes it easy to select nodes with low residual energy as cluster heads, thus forming network holes. At the same time, in multi hop transmission, the cluster head near the sink node is overloaded due to forwarding a large amount of data. Aiming at these problems, this paper introduces PSO algorithm and proposes ADCH-EPE-APTEEN routing protocol. In order to make the particle swarm optimization algorithm more suitable for routing protocol, this paper first proposes DCA-PSO based on particle swarm optimization algorithm. DCA-PSO uses the classification adaptive change inertia weight for different states of particles in the optimization process. At the same time, dynamic learning factor is used to improve the influence of particle experience and other particle experience on convergence speed and to improve the optimization accuracy and speed of the algorithm. Secondly, when APTEEN routing protocol is networked, the cluster head is selected by DCA-PSO, in which the residual energy of nodes, the location of nodes, and the energy distribution around nodes are fully taken into consideration. Thirdly, considering the distance between nodes and the sink node, the residual energy and the energy distribution around nodes, a front area is set up in the cluster located in the upper half and the assistant cluster head is selected in the front area through the DCA-PSO algorithm. The simulation results show that the DCA-PSO algorithm can significantly improve the search speed and precision compared with the PSO algorithm. MANETs are networks of mobile devices for multihop communication without a separate infrastructure for routing and control. If robust protocols are available, MANETs can exploit the true ubiquity of everyday mobile devices for application scenarios such as collaborative learning, multiplayer gaming, adaptive advertising as well as in disaster management and battlefield communication. Traditional schemes such as reactive, proactive and hybrid routing incur costs of often O( n ) for discovering and maintaining routes or node hierarchies for networks with n number of nodes. These routes or node structures become obsolete rapidly due to MANET dynamics resulting from mobility, limited battery life, and impairments of wireless links. These traditional approaches are based on a paradigm that we refer to as fixed-stateful routing. The routing paradigm that best matches the ubiquity of devices in a MANET is mobile-stateless routing. In mobile-stateless routing, nodes do not keep global network states or play special roles as control nodes. We propose flooding as an end to end packet delivery mechanism and introduce the concept of endcast that allows the communication from a single source to a single destination in which the data is carried by controlled flooding and the data propagation is inhibited after reaching the destination. Problem statement: Simple flooding causes excessive packet redundancy resulting in collisions and contention which is known as broadcast storm problem. We introduce the term broadcast flood problem to refer to the propagation of data beyond the destination in flooding operation. This research is aimed at modeling endcast and developing an endcast scheme to enable MANET nodes to perform end to end communication in mobile-stateless manner. Solution: We built a theoretical model to analyze the endcast concept. This model includes methods to quantify broadcast storm problem and broadcast flood problem. Based on this model, we proposed an endcast scheme that controls the storm situation using counter-based flooding and the flood situation using negative acknowledgement packets. The storm control scheme is inspired by the chalone mechanism that regulates growth of biological organs. The proposed scheme is in the mobile-stateless routing paradigm because the nodes keep only a set of local states in the form of a log of received data packets and the nodes do not act as infrastructure nodes. Lifetime is a key parameter in the design of routing protocols in energy-constrained wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Conventional single-path routing schemes may not be optimal in maximizing network lifetime. In this paper, we present a new routing algorithm based on the optimal number of hops to partition the path from the source to the sink. The algorithm is based on energy consumption constrained routing method. The mathematical model uses mixed-integer programming (MIP), based on the Lagrangian relaxation (LR) method, to define critical parameters that control the adaptive hop-by-hop switching. LINGO is used to investigate the performance trade-offs between energy efficiency and quality of service (QoS). Simulation results revealed that our algorithm significantly improves the lifetime by 46.91, 73.00, and 80.00 % as compared to the well-known node density control, upper-bound, and WSN optimization of network lifetime algorithms, respectively. In wireless body area sensor networks (WBASNs), energy efficiency is an area of extreme significance. At first, we present a mathematical model for a non-invasive inductive link which is used to recharge the battery of an implanted biomedical device (pacemaker). Afterwards, we propose a distance-aware relaying energy-efficient (DARE) and mutual information-based DARE (MI-DARE) routing protocols for multihop mobility-aware body area sensor networks (MM-BASNs). Both the routing protocols and the non-invasive inductive link model are tested with the consideration of eight patients in a hospital unit under different topologies, where the vital signs of each patient are monitored through seven on-body sensors and an implanted pacemaker. To reduce energy consumption of the network, the sensors communicate with a sink via an on-body relay which is fixed on the chest of each patient. The behavior (static/mobile) and position of the sink are changed in each topology, and the impact of mobility due to postural changes of the patient(s) arms, legs, and head is also investigated. The MI-DARE protocol further prolongs the network lifetime by minimizing the number of transmissions. Long delays and varying delays in triple-play services on a hybrid satellite network are constraints lead for quality of service in end-to-end delay; it is an origin of jitter to make obstacle such as motion freezes and block artifacts in the video. In this paper, the Optimized Routing Protocol for Hybrid Satellite Network (ORPHSN) algorithm is proposed in order to reduce end-to-end delay and determine the best path. The proposed algorithm applies to COMMStellation™ system where hybrid satellite network topology with triple-play services of traffic load applied. The algorithm consists of five metrics which are (1) propagation link delay, (2) queuing delay, (3) link hop count, (4) link utilization, and (5) link length. The simulation results show that the proposed routing algorithm can determine the best routing paths. Researchers working in the area of a mobile ad hoc network ( MANET) strive to conserve the battery energy of individual nodes to reduce the frequency of a node breakdown. The model of multiple-path on demand data routing protocols has been an effective scheme for the majority of MANET application scenarios in recent times. The availability of multiple paths for data transfer can both prove to be effective as well as dismal in certain cases. The selection of the most suitable path is always tricky, if not associated with exact metrics of concern. The contribution of this work is the introduction of the load balancing ad hoc on-demand multipath distance vector (LBAOMDV) protocol, an adaptation of AOMDV, an ad hoc on-demand multipath distance vector protocol. The adaption is done in order to enhance the reliability of the given network by considering the parameter of path weight (energy) of all the available multiple paths. The LBAOMDV regulates the fair usage of both node energy and available bandwidth by exploiting the availability of multiple paths for data transfer. The uniform distribution of data across multiple paths enhances the quality of service of the given network by ensuring fair usage of both network bandwidth and node energy. Opportunistic routing has gained much attention as a new and promising approach to relay packets in wireless mesh networks. The collaboration of intermediate nodes to deliver packets without a predetermined route, using the broadcast nature of wireless channel, increases the transmission reliability and network throughput. Nevertheless, such characteristics make the process of admission control even more challenging than in a traditional unipath routing protocol. In this paper, we propose an admission control mechanism for quality of service (QoS)-enabled opportunistic routing protocols. This mechanism performs admission control and resource reservation in multiple neighbors according to their importance for the relaying process. We also consider the influence of using thresholds for QoS parameters in order to improve the service provided to adaptive applications. Simulation results allow us to reach two conclusions: (i) the proposed mechanism achieves higher success rate than both a unipath-based and a multipath-based admission control mechanisms and (ii) thresholds allow high resource reservation even in network topologies with scarce resources. Opportunistic routing (OR) protocols for ad hoc networks basically consist of selecting a few forwarders between the source and destination and prioritizing their transmission. The performance of OR protocols depends on how these two steps are performed. The aim was to reduce the number of transmissions to deliver packets to the destination. In this paper, we first present a mathematical model to compute the total number of packets including duplicate packets generated by OR protocols. We use the model to analyse well-known OR protocols and understand the reason behind their increase in number of transmissions. Next, we propose an OR scheme transmission-aware opportunistic ad hoc routing (TOAR) protocol, which attempts to minimize retransmissions. Our proposed OR protocol uses tree structures to select forwarders and prioritize them. The use of tree structures helps in identifying primary forwarders which carry packets farthest to the destination during each transmission round. TOAR also helps in choosing secondary forwarders which will transmit packets missed out by the forwarder. Broadcast is a fundamental operation in wireless networks. To this end, many past studies have studied the NP-hard, broadcast problem for always-on multi-hop networks. However, in wireless sensor networks, nodes are powered by batteries, meaning, they have finite energy. Consequently, nodes are required to have a low duty cycle, whereby they switch between active and sleep state periodically. This means that a transmission from a node may not reach all of its neighbors simultaneously. Consequently, any developed broadcast protocols must consider collisions and the wake-up times of neighboring nodes. Henceforth, this paper studies the minimum latency broadcast scheduling problem in duty cycled multi-hop wireless networks (MLBSDC), which remains NP hard. The MLBSDC problem aims to find a collision-free schedule that minimizes the time in which the last node receives a broadcast message. We propose a novel algorithm called CFBS that allows nodes in different layers of the broadcast tree to transmit simultaneously. We prove that CFBS produces a latency of at most [InlineEquation not available: see fulltext.]. Here, T denotes the number of time slots in a scheduling period, and H is the optimal broadcast latency obtained from the shortest path tree algorithm assuming no collision. Simulation studies have been the predominant method of evaluating ad hoc routing algorithms. Despite their wide use and merits, simulations are generally time consuming. Furthermore, several prominent ad hoc simulations report inconsistent and unrepeatable results. We, therefore, argue that simulation-based evaluation of ad hoc routing protocols should be complemented with mathematical verification and comparison. In this paper, we propose a performance evaluation framework that can be used to model two key performance metrics of an ad hoc routing algorithm, namely, routing overhead and route optimality. We also evaluate derivatives of the two metrics, namely, total energy consumption and route discovery latency. Using the proposed framework, we evaluate the performance of four prominent ad hoc routing algorithms: DSDV, DSR, AODV-LL, and Gossiping. We show that the modeled metrics not only allow unbiased performance comparison but also provide interesting insight about the impact of different parameters on the behavior of these protocols. To bring VANET into reality, it is crucial to devise routing protocols that can exploit the inherited characteristics of VANET environment to enhance the performance of the running applications. Previous studies have shown that a certain routing protocol behaves differently under different presumed mobility patterns. Bypass-AODV is a new optimization of the AODV routing protocol for mobile ad-hoc networks. It is proposed as a local recovery mechanism to enhance the performance of the AODV routing protocol. It shows outstanding performance under the Random Waypoint mobility model compared with AODV. However, Random Waypoint is a simple model that may be applicable to some scenarios but it is not sufficient to capture some important mobility characteristics of scenarios where VANETs are deployed. In this paper, we will investigate the performance of Bypass-AODV under a wide range of mobility models including other random mobility models, group mobility models, and vehicular mobility models. Simulation results show an interesting feature that is the insensitivity of Bypass-AODV to the selected random mobility model, and it has a clear performance improvement compared to AODV. For group mobility model, both protocols show a comparable performance, but for vehicular mobility models, Bypass-AODV suffers from performance degradation in high-speed conditions. The quality of an IEEE 802.15.4 link can be estimated on the basis of the Link Quality Indication (LQI), which is a parameter offered by the IEEE 802.15.4 physical layer. The LQI has been recommended by organizations such as the ZigBee Alliance and the IETF as an input to routing metrics for IEEE 802.15.4 multihop networks. As these networks evolve, one-to-one communications gain relevance in many application areas. In this paper, we present an in-depth, experimental study on the impact of LQI-based routing metrics on the performance of a one-to-one routing protocol for IEEE 802.15.4 multihop networks. We conducted our experiments in a 60-node testbed. Experiments show the spectrum of performance results that using (or not) the LQI may yield. Real deployments of wireless multihop networks, by Internet service providers (ISPs), have been slowed down by their poor performance and unreliability. The research community has already proved that efficient cross-layer routing, in particular rate-aware routing, can significantly improve performances. Nevertheless, this work has been done mainly by simulations, seldom being implemented in a real environment. We present in this paper the results we obtained by comparing the performances of the traditional routing approach based on the hop-count metric and the cross-layer routing approach based on the transmission rate metric. These measurements have been done on the MeshDVNet test bed we deployed in our laboratory. As a routing protocol, we used two versions (with and without cross-layer metric) of MeshDV, a simple routing protocol expressly designed for wireless mesh networks (WMNs). Current video-surveillance systems typically consist of many video sources distributed over a wide area, transmitting live video streams to a central location for processing and monitoring. The target of this paper is to present an experience of implementation of a large-scale video-surveillance system based on a wireless mesh network infrastructure, discussing architecture, protocol, and implementation issues. More specifically, the paper proposes an architecture for a video-surveillance system, and mainly centers its focus on the routing protocol to be used in the wireless mesh network, evaluating its impact on performance at the receiver side. A wireless mesh network was chosen to support a video-surveillance application in order to reduce the overall system costs and increase scalability and performance. The paper analyzes the performance of the network in order to choose design parameters that will achieve the best trade-off between video encoding quality and the network traffic generated. Adequate representation of mobility is a very important issue in simulation of mobile ad hoc networks. In this context, we consider the characterization of the mobile nodes movement through a Markovian modeling. Our proposed representation allows for smooth movements and the generation of several different mobility profiles. This approach is also shown to be more suitable for use in various ad hoc networks scenarios than other proposed mobility models, such as the random waypoint (RWP) model. An evaluation of the proposed model is provided, under different border rule scenarios. In addition, the performance of AODV, DSR, and DSDV routing protocols is also studied through simulations, utilizing the proposed model, and the results obtained are discussed. A link between a pair of nodes is defined unstable if it is characterized by a packet loss which is not negligible in one or both directions. The presence of unstable links in multihop ad hoc networks is very likely and it depends on several factors (e.g., different transmission capabilities of the devices, interferences caused by additional wireless devices). Their management by the routing protocols is of paramount importance since they negatively affect applications performance. In our previous experimental studies, we found that AODV is characterized by very low performance in some specific situations and, in this work, we demonstrate that it mainly depends on the wrong management of unstable links as valid routes. We present some policies that have been proposed in literature to avoid this problem, and we validate two of them through experimental results, exploiting also a direct comparison with the proactive routing protocol OLSR. Our results show that AODV is not able to avoid the use of unstable links, even when an alternative stable route exists. In the same conditions, OLSR outperforms AODV by correctly managing unstable links. Recently, researchers and practitioners in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are focusing on energy-oriented communication and computing considering next-generation smaller and tiny wireless devices. The tiny sensor-enabled devices will be used for the purpose of sensing, computing, and wireless communication. The hundreds/thousands of WSNs sensors are used to monitor specific activities and report events via wireless communication. The tiny sensor-enabled devices are powered by smaller batteries to work independently in distributed environments resulting in limited maximum lifetime of the network constituted by these devices. Considering the non-uniform distribution of sensor-enabled devices in the next-generation mobility centric WSNs environments, energy consumption is imbalanced among the different sensors in the overall network environments. Toward this end, in this paper, a cluster-oriented routing protocol termed as prediction-oriented distributed clustering (PODC) mechanism is proposed for WSNs focusing on non-uniform sensor distribution in the network. A network model is presented, while categorizing PODC mechanism in two activities including setting cluster of nodes and the activity in the steady state. Further cluster set up activity is described while categorizing in four subcategories. The proposed protocol is compared with individual sensor energy awareness and distributed networking mode of clustering (EADC) and scheduled sensor activity-based individual sensor energy awareness and distributed networking mode of clustering (SA-ADC). The metrics including the overall lifetime of the network and nodes individual energy consumption in realistic next-generation WSNs environments are considered in the experimental evaluation. The results attest the reduced energy consumption centric benefits of the proposed framework PODC as compared to the literature. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the latest Internet development, with billions of Internet-connected devices and a wide range of industrial applications. Wireless sensor networks are an important part of the Internet of Things. It has received extensive attention from researchers due to its large-scale, self-organizing, and dynamic characteristics and has been widely used in industry, traffic information, military, environmental monitoring, and so on. With the development of microprocessor technology, sensor nodes are becoming more and more powerful, which enables the same wireless sensor networks (WSNs) platform to meet the different quality of service (QoS) requirements of many applications. Applications for industrial wireless sensor networks range from lower physical layers to higher application layers. The same wireless sensor network sometimes needs to process information from different layers. Traditional protocols lack differentiated services and cannot make full use of network resources. In this paper, an Adaptive Retransmit Mechanism for Delay Differentiated Services (ARM-DDS) scheme is proposed to meet different levels of delays of applications. Firstly, we analyze the impact of different retransmit mechanisms and parameter optimization on delays and energy consumption. Based on the results of the analysis, in ARM-DDS scheme, for routes with transmission delay tolerance, energy-saving retransmission mechanisms are used, and low-latency retransmission mechanisms are used for latency-sensitive routes. In this way, the data routing delays of different applications are guaranteed within bound and the energy consumption of the network is reduced. What is more, ARM-DDS scheme makes full use of the residual energy of the network and uses a small delay routing retransmit mechanism in the far-sink area to reduce end-to-end delay. Both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that under the premise of the same reliability requirements, ARM-DDS scheme reduces data transmission delay 12.1% and improves network energy utilization 28%. Online product recommendation and market segmentation are directly related to the consumer experience and the healthy development of the e-commerce market. In order to improve the selection of network products and the effect of market segmentation, this study introduced a wireless sensing system based on the recommendation of traditional network products and combined the operational conditions of the network commodity market to construct a personalized recommendation e-commerce system. Meanwhile, a series of representative WSN congestion control strategies are designed by dynamically adjusting the network topology, routing algorithm, channel allocation protocol, and channel resource utilization, and the system structural components and functions are implemented. Recently, vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is greatly considered by many service providers in urban environments. These networks can not only improve road safety and prevent accidents, but also provide a means of entertainment for passengers. However, according to recent studies, efficient routing has still remained as a big open issue in VANETs. In other words, broadcast storm can considerably degrade the routing performance. To address this problem, this research proposes TIHOO, an enhanced intelligent hybrid routing protocol based on improved fuzzy and cuckoo approaches to find the most stable path between a source and a destination node. In TIHOO, the route discovery phase is limited intelligently using the fuzzy logic system and, by limiting the route request messages, the imposed extra overhead can be efficiently controlled. Moreover, in figure of an intelligent hybrid approach, the improved cuckoo algorithm, which is one of the most effective meta-algorithms especially in the large search space, intelligently selects the most stable and optimal route among known routes by calculating an enhanced fitness function. The simulation results using NS2 tool demonstrate that TIHOO considerably improves network throughput, routing overhead, packet delivery ratio, packet loss ratio, and end-to-end delay compared to similar routing protocols. LEACH routing protocol equalizes the energy consumption of the network by randomly selecting cluster head nodes in a loop, which will lead to the defect of unstable network operation. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, it is necessary to reduce the energy consumption of data transmission in the routing protocol and increase the network life cycle. However, there is also a problem that cluster heads count with a wide range and the cluster head forwarding data consumed greatly power in the LEACH, which remains to be solved. In this paper, we put forward an approach to optimize the routing protocol. Firstly, the optimal number of cluster head is calculated according to the overall energy consumption per round to reduce the probability of excessive cluster head distribution. Then, the cluster head is used as the core to construct the Voronoi Diagram. The nodes in the same Voronoi diagram become a cluster, that the energy consumption communication in intra-cluster would be less. Finally, in order to optimize the multi-hop routing protocol, an ant colony algorithm is added using a cluster head near the BS to receive and forward it from a remote cluster head. According to the MATLAB simulation data, the protocol can significantly prolong the lifetime of WSNs compared with the LEACH protocol and increase the energy efficiency per unit node in per round. With the wide-ranging application of mobile ad hoc networks, flying ad hoc networks (FANETs) have received more and more attention from the industry. Routing technology is a key technology of ad hoc networks. The high-speed mobility of nodes poses a greater challenge to FANET routing technology. Based on the Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol, the continuous Hopfield neural network is used to optimize the route to be adapted to the high-speed movement of the FANET node. In a simulation using NS3, the result shows that the optimized DSR protocol has greatly improved key indicators such as end-to-end average delay, throughput, and packet delivery ratio.
