We report an electrochemically promoted decarboxylation of readily available carboxylic acid and subsequent Mumm rearrangement to synthesize the corresponding imides. The reaction features external oxidant‐free, transition metal‐free mild conditions, and good functional group tolerance, affording various imides in moderate to good yields. A simple protocol for amide bond construction using β‐keto sulfonyl fluorides (BKSFs) as the acyl surrogates has been achieved. The reaction of BKSFs with a range of amines could be performed in presence of N‐bromosuccinimide (NBS), affording various amides with diverse functionalities. Here we report a facile cyclization reaction of β,γ‐unsaturated ketones with NaNO2 under mild conditions to construct 3‐acyl‐isoxazoles. This transformation is realized via nitrosation of the activated methylene, radical 5‐endo trig cyclization, and then aromatization, according to some control experiments. Copper‐catalyzed amidation of alkynyl bromides can be carried out in water for the first time, which is made possible by a micellar catalysis strategy using rosin‐based surfactant APGS‐550‐M. The surfactant can be easily prepared from natural abundant biomass, resin acids. Studies as to substrate scope and reaction aqueous medium recycling showcase the ease and sustainability of this technology.
