As a new type of physiological active substance, functional oligosaccharides have the characteristics of green, natural environmental protection and no residue, and can replace some antibiotics in the production of piglets. At the same time, functional oligosaccharides can be fermented and utilized by intestinal microorganisms to produce short-chain fatty acids, regulate intestinal flora structure, which have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, maintain intestinal barrier integrity after weaning, and thus improve intestinal health of piglets. The paper summarizes and analyzes the mechanism and application of functional oligosaccharides in the production of weaned piglets, to provide reference for its application in the production of piglets.
