Abstract

The article discusses the karyotype diversity of the fish offspring from silver Prussian carp diploid male and triploid female. An overview of the specie's karyotype that features supernumerary chromosomes of the triploid biotype is offered. It reports that the male fish has 100 while the female has 159 which show high level of chromosomal plasticity of the biotype.
