A 16-year-old boy presented with a 6-month history of a painful soft tissue swelling posteroinferior to the right medial malleolus. On surgical exploration, multiple metachronous schwannomas of the posterior tibial and its medial plantar branch were excised and the patient's symptoms were resolved.
