The purpose of the work. The article investigated the effect of the development of Ukrainian spiritual culture activities of Paysiy Velichkovsky and his followers. Research methodology consists in the application of the principle of cultural-historical approach, which requires to consider all phenomena, events, facts cultural process in the context of historical time, the conditions (social, economic, political, moral-psychological and other), in which had lived and worked Paysiy Velichkovsky, and, accordingly, the method of analysis and synthesis. Scientific novelty. The author found that Paysiy Velichkovsky is a real renewer of the Ukrainian monastic life and the first Ukrainian monk mentor in ascetic reading. On mount Athos elder (starets) Paysiy lays the foundation of the school scribes and translators, which is fully formed at Nyametsky monasteries in Moldova. Case Paysiy after his death was continued by numerous disciples and followers, a lot of whom were Ukrainians. Conclusions. Thanks to the hard work of the school of disciples of of St. Paysiy there is a significant amount of the corrected translations of the books of the Church fathers and their copies. Students-Ukrainians brought their own cultural characteristics in the life and work of Nyametsky and Sekulsky monasteries, dominating them until the mid-nineteenth century, and played a leading role in the preservation of the spiritual heritage of Paysiy Velichkovsky. The article identified the problems associated with the formation of a new scientific discipline - biofilosophy as a response to the need for a deeper implication of philosophy and biology. The author defines as biofilosophy poliaspeсts, integrative, interdisciplinary branch of scientific knowledge, based on a set of biological sciences and aims to articulation and solution of philosophical, axiological, methodological, epistemological and ontological problems by examining existing forms of life in nature. It is noted that the education biofilosophy constructive approach focuses on the realization of educational process, the production of advanced, evidence–based educational models, implementation of which will provide an adequate response to the demands of educational institutions of society and the state. The author highlights the key provisions developed by his philosophical and educational concepts based on biofilosophy (including biopolitics). It is concluded that under current conditions biofilosophy serves not only the object of scientific discourse but also theoretical and practical foundation for increased productivity and efficiency, particularly in the educational sphere of public life.
