Abstract

The Peltier Current Lead with switching facilities is developed to polarity-reversible superconducting magnet. The results show that the heat leakage could be reduced compared to the conventional current lead when the module is installed with Peltier Current Lead.

Abstract

Research is presented describing how current distribution is very sensitive to the distribution of inductance in a multi-strand superconducting cable conductor. When this type of conductor has strands with higher magnetic coupling, frequency causes a dynamic change in current distribution.
