In this paper, a novel constrained switching rule, called “time-triggered logical switching” (TTLS) is considered for switched logical dynamic systems (SLDSs). Compared with the general time-triggered switching, the activation mode of TTLS cannot be arbitrary and is pre-allocated according to the logic operation, which is more practical. The TTLS is described as an LDS, and according to the characteristics of LDS, the stability analysis of SLDSs with TTLS is converted into the stability analysis of SLDSs under the logical switching cycle sequences. Firstly, based on the equivalent algebraic form of SLDSs with TTLS, combining the Lyapunov theory of LDS with average dwell-time method, several sufficient conditions are put forward for ensuring the point stability of the considered SLDSs. Then, by defining the switching cycle invariant subset and constructing a new system, the set stability analysis of the original system is transformed into the point stability analysis of the new system, and further, the obtained results for the point stability analysis are applied to the set stability analysis. This paper considers weakly and strongly input-to-state stability (ISS) of a discrete-time time-varying delayed system with synchronous impulses and switches. By employing the uniformly asymptotically stable function and mode-dependent dwell time conditions, ISS criteria are derived using the Krasovskii and Razumikhin techniques. The time differences of the Krasovskii functionals or the Razumikhin functions can be mode-dependent and time-varying, which release constraints of some existing results. As subsequent results, we apply the derived ISS criteria to the multi-agent systems (MASs). Finally, two examples considering the quasi-consensus of MASs are given to verify the established results. This paper adopts a quantization-dependent Lyapunov function to study the output feedback stabilization problem of a switched system subject to output event-triggered sampling and quantization. First, a new event-triggered mechanism related to quantization parameters is proposed, which can obtain a trade-off between the event-triggered frequency and quantization density on the premise of ensuring asymptotic stability of the switched system. Moreover, sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure asymptotic stability of the switched system by a quantization-dependent Lyapunov function. Lastly, through a numerical simulation and PWM-driven boost converter system, we demonstrate the availability of the proposed quantization-dependent Lyapunov function and event-triggered mechanism methods based on quantization parameters, respectively. This paper investigates the state estimation for switched memristive neural networks with nonhomogeneous sojourn probabilities. Essentially different from most current literature, a novel switching law is developed to depict the dynamic behavior of switched memristive neural networks, in which the sojourn probabilities of each subsystem are assumed to be nonhomogeneous, and a higher-level deterministic switching signal is proposed to regulate proper feedback switching information by means of the average dwell time approach. Meanwhile, to alleviate the constraint network bandwidth resource efficiently, a dynamic event-triggered mechanism with a novel threshold parameter is proposed in determining if the current data should be released or not. By resorting to the Lyapunov functional technique and the stochastic analysis strategy, some sufficient conditions are addressed to ensure the stochastic stability of the augmented switched memristive neural networks. Aiming at a class of switched uncertain nonlinear strict-feedback systems under the action of average dwell time switching signal, this paper proposes a novel adaptive neural network output feedback tracking control based on the consideration of the full state constraints. The controller is proposed based on neural networks. One of the key characteristics of the system discussed is that the state variables cannot be measured and the system states need to be kept within the constraint ranges. For the sake of estimating the unmeasured states, the observer is constructed. In order to ensure all states which are within the time-varying boundary, the tangent barrier Lyapunov function (BLF-Tan) is selected in the design process. The boundedness of the closed-loop signals with average dwell time is guaranteed by the designed controllers and all the states limit in their constrained sets. It has been proved that the output tracking error converge to a small neighborhood of zero. This paper addresses the problem of simultaneous fault detection and control (SFDC) for Markov jump systems (MJSs) over sensor networks. In order to save the bandwidth of the network, round-Robin protocol is adopted for the communication between the sensors and fault detection filter. First, to fully utilize the data of sensor networks, a new distributed system is developed especially for SFDC, and a residual system, which integrates the MJSs with the distributed SFDC system, is also established. Then, by constructing a mode-dependent Lyapunov functional, the conditions for distributed SFDC are derived, which can make the residual system asymptotically mean-square stable and meanwhile satisfy the prescribed H∞ performance requirements. To avoid the bumps of the control signal in the switching instants, this paper proposes a bumpless transfer control method which guarantees the continuous of control signal while keeping the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. Firstly, the presented bumpless transfer control method possesses a simple structure and meanwhile not have to redesign sub-controllers, which is easy to implement. Furthermore, the method is appropriate for either stable subsystems or unstable subsystems, and be suitable for either state feedback control or dynamic output feedback control. Moreover, we give the sufficient conditions of asymptotic stability for switched linear systems under bumpless transfer control for four cases. For the original switched system with stable subsystems under state or dynamic output feedback control, the stability conditions under mode-dependent average dwell time switching are derived. For the original switched system with unstable subsystems under state or dynamic output feedback control, which is stabilized by some certain switching laws, the stability conditions under the original switching law are given. To effectively use the network resources, a suitable event-driven communication scheme is proposed for the networked switched systems in this paper. Under the EDCS, a finite-time filter is designed for switched systems, which does not synchronize with the switched systems. Different from the existing finite-time problems, finite-time boundedness (FTBs) and input–output finite-time stability (IO-FTSy) are simultaneously considered in this paper. Some sufficient conditions are established to check the properties of the FTBs and the IO-FTSy of the event-driven asynchronous filtering error system by constructing a reasonable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using the average dwell time approach. All the matrix inequalities can be converted to linear matrix inequalities so as to design the event-driven asynchronous filter. In this paper, a class of discrete-time singularly perturbed switched systems $\left ({\text {SPSSs}}\right) $ with persistent dwell-time $\left ({\text {PDT}}\right)$ switching law is firstly proposed. Using the slow-state feedback control method, sufficient conditions to ensure the global uniform exponential stability of the closed-loop PDT SPSSs are derived. Based on the aforementioned conditions, the analyses of the extended dissipative performance of the closed-loop PDT SPSSs and a preferable decoupling method deriving the mode-dependent controller gains are given for the first time. Finally, the potential practicability of the method is verified by a purely numerical example and a tunnel diode circuit model, and a convex optimization method calculating the upper bound of the singular perturbation parameter is provided. This paper is concerned with the $H_\infty $ control problem for switched systems under the event-triggered sampling, the quantization control and the state-dependent switching. The dynamic event-triggered strategy and the quantization control are utilized to adjust the signal transmission and relieve the transmission load. Different from the existing dynamic event-triggered strategies, the triggering condition only needs to be monitored at discrete time. Moreover, the state-dependent switching law is designed by using only the discrete state information. Under the event-triggered sampling, the quantization control and the state-dependent switching, sufficient conditions are proposed to guarantee the $H_\infty $ performance. This paper investigates the problem of noise-to-state practical stability in mean (NSpS-M) (which is a natural generalization of noise-to-state stability in mean) and the problem of almost sure global asymptotic stability (GAS a.s.) for a class of random nonlinear time-varying impulsive switched systems. By using the notions of average impulsive switched interval and Poisson process, unified sufficient stability criteria on NSpS-M and GAS a.s. are derived. Two remarkable distinctions from the existing results lie in that: (1) stabilizing, inactive and destabilizing impulses are simultaneously considered; (2) the coefficient of the derivative of a Lyapunov function is allowed to be a time-varying function which can be both positive and negative and may even be unbounded. As an accompaniment, a less conservative unified criterion on NSpS-M for a special case is also presented by taking into account the stabilization role of the gain constant of the time-varying coefficient. This paper studies stability of stochastic impulsive switched systems. Different from exponential Lyapunov function and average dwell-time in the previous works, general Lyapunov function and fixed dwell-time are implemented in this paper to analyze input-to-state stability and global stability of stochastic impulsive switched systems. Two cases are investigated, that is, the case that the continuous dynamics is stable and the case that the discrete dynamics is stable. To implement multiple Lyapunov functions, there are two subcases considered in this paper: the subcase that the estimates on the derivatives of the multiple Lyapunov functions are the same and the subcase that the growths of the multiple Lyapunov functions by the jumps are the same. For aforementioned different cases, sufficient stability conditions are established for stochastic impulsive switched systems. This paper is concerned with the distributed $H_\infty $ filtering problem of discrete-time switched linear systems in sensor networks in face of packet dropouts and quantization. Specifically, due to the packet dropout phenomenon, the filters may lose access to the real-time switching signal of the plant. It is assumed that the maximal packet dropout number of switching signal is bounded. Then, a distributed filtering system is proposed by further considering the quantization effect. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, a sufficient condition is obtained for the convergence of filtering error dynamics. The filter gain design is transformed into a convex optimization problem. In this paper, a quantitative relation between the switching rule missing rate and filtering performance is established. Furthermore, the upper bound of the switching rule missing rate is also calculated. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed filter design is validated by a simulation study on the pulse-width-modulation-driven boost converter circuit. The impact of noise covariance, system dynamics, and network connectivity is studied, and some discussions are presented on how these parameters affect the filtering performance. This paper addresses the stability problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems subject to random disturbances whose $\tau $ -order moments ( \tau >1$ ) are finite. First, some general conditions are given to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of solutions to random switched systems. Next, these results are used to deduce the criteria of noise-to-state stability under probabilistic switching signal. Then, the average dwell-time approach is adopted to study the noise-to-state stability, the e^{\lambda t} -weighted (integral) noise-to-state stability and the global asymptotic stability of random switched systems. All the criteria on global existence and stability of solutions are developed by virtue of multiple Lyapunov functions. In this paper, the controllability problem is addressed for temporally switching networks and the associated temporally switching systems. The state controllability criterion of temporally switching systems is firstly obtained, which stands for structural controllability of temporally switching networks with the same structure. With a new temporal interpretation of the dilation and intersection concepts, some algebraic and graphic criteria are precisely derived. Specifically, it reveals that the essence for the structural controllability is the existence of $n$ temporally independent walks (the $n$-walk theory), which generalizes the classical concept of cactus in graph theory to temporal networks. Furthermore, from the perspective of the new $n$-walk theory, its uniqueness makes the notion of strong structural controllability more precise and clearer for temporal networks. This comprehension of the (strong) structural controllability concept not only is of particular advantage for more in-depth studies of network control problems, but also provides useful guidance for constructing controllable temporal networks. The H∞ filtering for event-triggered discrete-time switched systems subject to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks is considered. Based on the event-triggering scheme, the switching signal and the measured output signal are sent to remote switched filters through networks susceptible to malicious attacks, which may cause the filter mode mismatched with the system mode. Taking the asynchronous switching into account, we give a switching law with the average dwell time (ADT) guaranteeing the exponential stability with the H∞ performance of the event-triggered switched filtering error system (SFES) in the absence of attacks by employing the multiple Lyapunov function (MLF) method. Then, under the given ADT, sufficient conditions on the attack duty cycle are proposed in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to ensure that the event-triggered SFES under attacks is still exponentially stable, and the relation between the H∞ performance index and attacks is quantitatively proposed. This article aims at proposing a regulation anti-disturbance control scheme for switched systems encountered by multiple disturbances, including the measurable disturbance and unmeasurable disturbance, through a multiple Lyapunov functions method. A switched estimator is developed for estimating the unmeasurable disturbance, under which a switched regulator and a switching law are co-designed to regulate the system output, while resisting the influence of the disturbances on the switched systems. Sufficient conditions are provided to ensure the output regulation performance and the disturbance restrain performance for the switched systems, even if all subsystems may not have the performances. These conditions are also appropriate for non-switched systems. In this article, the issue of almost output regulation for continuous-time switched positive systems is investigated. We take into consideration the different coordinates transformations in which the subsystems are switched corresponding to the individual coordinate system. A new design scheme is firstly proposed in this manner. Furthermore, each group of the regulator equations has its own solution. Two types of control strategies, including a state feedback law and an error feedback law, are adopted. In contrast to the nominal output regulation problem, we consider the case where an unknown external disturbance affects the systems and the exogenous systems. Therefore, a concept of the almost output regulation for the considered systems is proposed. Then, all tractable conditions guaranteeing the solvability of the addressed problem are presented in terms of linear matrix equalities as well as linear vector inequalities by means of the constructed multiple linear copositive Lyapunov functions.
