The article reports that the 2006 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory will be held at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Seattle, Washington from Sunday July 9 through Friday July 14, 2006. Seattle is conveniently located on the west coast, making it easily accessible from everywhere in North America and from Asia. Papers will be reviewed on the basis of an extended abstract of sufficient detail to permit reasonable evaluation.
