Abstract

The paper concerns measurements of photoneutron cross sections for activation of the 1.58 s ground state and of the 32 min isomeric state in34Cl. The branching ratio is found to be of the order of unity. A tentative explanation of the peculiar behaviour of the b.r. in the region of the giant resonance is given.
