The Objective of this study is to analyse the correlation between Job Related Basic Need Satisfaction and Job Engagement. The sample data for this research was obtained from a Total of 284 Teaching Faculty who are working in various engineering colleges in Erode District. In this study two scales were used as Questionnaires one is Work Related Basic Need Satisfaction (W-BNS) and the other one is Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES). The results from this Research study were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and Pearson Product moment correlation coefficient analysis. The analysis revealed that the various sub parameters of Job Related basic needs satisfaction have a strong correlation with the level of Job engagement. The Results of this research findings should be utilised by the managements of the colleges to introduce various innovative measures to improve the parameters related to working conditions of the teaching staff which improves the basic need satisfaction parameters like competency autonomy and relatedness ultimately leading to higher levels of Job engagement. Background/Objectives: Human being does work to live out and they have their private life because human has sociality. Both work and life are important to live out but they are on the trade-off relationship. Because keeping the balance between work and life is too hard, in has been interested by academic and practical areas. Methods/Statistical analysis: In this study, we focus on key findings between Work-Life Balance (below WLB) and Job engagement. Also, we tested the relationship by Social Media such as smartphone, PDA and so on. As we know in general, it is essential for human to keep and optimize mental and physical stability. Findings: In this study, we aim to examine the effect of Consequences of Work-Life Balance (WLB) on Job Engagement (JE) with usage of Social Media as a moderator variable. To do so, we try to find elements of WLB and JE and verifying their relationships. Improvements/Applications: We aim to deliver contributions to academic and practical fields. For the academic field, we are going to suggest the new perspective of firm level Work-life balance on Job Engagement while existing researches were not able to consider the role of Social Media. In an organization under one roof, the engagement practices differ from generation to generation due to the psychological nature of the employee and bought up nature of their organization. This article looks at how the engagement practices differs from generation to generation and has been changed over time, as indicated by three months of survey data and interviews with a subset of IT employee. The main purpose of the study is to determine the difference in the engagement practices of multi-generation workforce who are all working under a same organizational climate with held up of different roles and responsibilities. Descriptive research design was adopted in this study. Convenience method from non probability sampling technique used to choose samples. Totally 236 Teir-3 IT employees respondents participated by questionnaire in this study. Using SEM model.
