Abstract

The article investigates the regulatory circuit between Kaposi sarcoma associated herpesvirus and host innate immune system. It found that Toll-interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adaptor-inducing ß-interferon (TRIF) increases the expression of KSHV replication and transcription activator (RTA). It highlights the pathways of enhancement of RTA expression and degradation of TRIF.
