Abstract

Media communications is becoming more innovative and advanced due to developments of state-of-the-art technologies. The use of analogue technology in media communications has been replaced by digital technology where information derived from any medium is transformed into digital form before it is conveyed to the user. Digital technology is also used in interactive multimedia such as CD-ROM, computer games and virtual reality. Other applications include communication technologies, graphic arts, television and video as well as in business.
