When ironwork, especially steel roll coil, is transported to customers, land transportation and sea transportation are usually used. To transport steel roll coil fast and safe without damaging it, it is necessary that the steel roll coil has to be in stable condition. These days, apitong, which is all imported from overseas, is being used to support the steel roll coil, but because of apitong's rigidity, it damages the coil and when the coil is damaged, it is hard to fix. Due to the fact that recovering damage of the coil is almost impossible, we have to find the new type of dunnage that can substitute the apitong. In this paper, the arrays and the kinds of reinforcements, and rectangular type and trapezoid of dunnage will be talked about. The phenomenon of rolling and the impact when the carrier start moving and stop will be talked about as well. Therefore, we are going to develop a dunnage that does not damage ironwork and has better recovery and softness than existing apitong dunnage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The technological manipulation of the piezo-electric actuator could compensate for the errors of the machining precision during the process of machining which lead to an elevation and enhancement in overall precisions. This manipulation is a very convenient method to advance the precision for nations without the solid knowledge of the ultra-precision machining technology. There were 2 divisions of researches conducted to develop the UPCU for precision enhancement of the current lathe and compensation for the environmental errors as shown below; The first research was designed to measure and real-time correct any deviations in variety of areas to achieve a compensation system through more effective optical fiber laser encoder than the encoder resolution which was currently used in the existing lathe. The deviations for a real-time correction were composed of followings; the surrounding air temperature, the thermal deviations of the machining materials, the thermal deviations in spindles, and the overall thermal deviation occurred due to the machine structure. The second research was to develop the UPCU and to improve the machining precision through the ultra-precision positioning and the real-time operative error compensation. Key parts of the main equipment in a gas turbine may likely be damaged due to operation under high temperature, high pressure, high-speed rotation, etc. Accordingly, the cost for maintenance increases and the damaged parts may cause generation to stop. The surface of a blade is thermal-sprayed, using powder with main compositions such as Ni, Cr, Al, etc, in order to inhibit hot oxidation. Conventional regular maintenance of the coating layer of a blade is made by FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) and MTP (Magnetic Particle Testing). Such methods, however, are complicated and take a long time and also require high cost. In this study, defect diagnostics were tested on the coating layer of an industrial gas turbine blade, using an infrared thermography camera. Since the infrared thermography method can check a temperature distribution by means of non-contact on a wide range of areas, it can advantageously save expense and time as compared to conventional test methods. For the infrared thermography method, however, thermo-load must be applied onto a tested specimen and it is difficult to quantify the measured data. To solve the problems, this paper includes description about producing a specimen of a gas turbine blade (bucket), applying thermo-load onto the produced specimen, photographing thermography images by an infrared thermography camera, analyzing the thermography images, and pre-testing to analyze defects on the coating layer of the gas turbine blade. In after the industrial revolution in the 21st century, the world is preparing for new revolution that is society with knowledge for a basis such as IT (Information Technology), NT (Nano Technology) and BT (Bio Technology). Recently, NT is applied to various fields that are composed of science, industry, media and semiconductor-micro technology. It has need of IT that is ultra-precision positioning technology with strokes of many hundreds mm and maintenance of nm precision in fields of ultra micro processes, ultra precision measurements, photo communication parts and photo magnetic memories. For optimal design of micro-stage, we measured the displacement of piezoelectric transducer that was based on voltage value. And the micro-stage was analyzed using FEM with displacement data including voltage value of piezoelectric transducer. For verification of analysis results, the displacements were measured by using Laser interferometer. And researchers confirmed to propriety on design of micro-stage with FEM, we obtained 3.5% error rate between measurement results and analyzing results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Diagnosis or measurements using Infrared thermo-image hasn't been available. A quick diagnosis and thermal analysis can be possible when that kind of system is introduced to the investigation of each part. In this study, Infrared Camera, Thermo-vision 900 of AGEMA Company was used in order to investigate. Infrared Camera usually detects only Infrared wave from the light in order to illustrate the temperature distribution. Infrared diagnosis system can be applied to various the field. But the defect discrimination can be automatic or mechanization on the special shoes total inspection system. Also, it is more effective to development and composition on the shoes total inspection system. In this study, it is introduction method of special shoes nondestructive total inspection.
