The article presents a development of innovative research in the field of high education and museum studies in context of Digital Humanities (DH) concept. Information and communication technologies implementation to educational activities of classical university and museums is analyzed as a factor for development of Russian Federation higher education system. Collaboration between university and museum is considered as a factor of efficient improvement for training professionals in Arts and Humanities and is examined for blended learning environment. It is shown, that education is a form of citizens' access to open electronic sources and is one of the components for national interests of the Russian Federation in information society. It is noted, that an important condition for an individual fostering in a professional sphere is implementation of a consistent and balanced state policy in information, educational, scientific fields. Learning environment, which corresponds to contemporary educational requirements, is important components of this complex. Blended learning environment development at classical university is presented on the example of courses devoted to cultural digital heritage preservation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
