The article demonstrates that the value and ethical issues in international organizations are very similar to those in the governments of individual nation-states. The most prominent values include accountability, impartiality, integrity, honesty and loyalty and ethical problem areas include conflict of interest, partisanship and public comment. Certain obligations of international public servants are more strict and complex than those of some national public servants. The duty of reserve is especially important in the international sphere. Some ways in enhancing respect for professional and ethical values are recommended.
