Abstract

The article reports on Premier Paper Converting Machinery Inc.'s adoption of automation and control technologies from automation systems provider Mitsubishi Electric Automation Inc. as part of the goal of the New Berlin, Wisconsin-based paper converter manufacturer to produce unique machines. The Mitsubishi technologies that Premier has adopted include the L Series Modular PLC platform, the Simple Motion Function Blocks and the GX Works2 programming software.
