The synchronization of cycles of lunar and solar eclipses with climate changes is discussed. Time series of the annual frequencies of lunar and solar eclipses separately from 2000 BCE to 3000 CE are formed. Series of 108-year moving averages of the annual frequencies of lunar and solar eclipses are computed separately. A 580-year cycle of lunar and solar eclipses is detected. A spectral analysis of the raw eclipse series has confirmed the existence of a 580-year cycle in lunar and solar eclipses. The smoothed eclipse series are used to compute the boundaries of warm and cold climate intervals. A comparative analysis of these astronomical boundaries with empirical ones of warm and cold climate epochs over the last 1600 years according to climatologists F. Mayr and E. Le Roy Ladurie is conducted. A further comparison over the period of CE 145 to 1350 BCE is made using V.V. Klimenko's climate reconstructions over the Northern Hemisphere. The mean squared deviation of the empirical boundaries of warm and cold periods from the astronomical ones over 3100 years of comparison is found to be ±50 years. The conclusion is drawn that climate changes over the last 3100 years occurred simultaneously with 580-year oscillations of the annual frequency of eclipses. It is emphasized that eclipses cannot influence the climate. They are only visible indicators of variations in the relative configurations of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, which affect the magnitude and direction of gravitational tidal forces, which in turn influence the Earth's climate system. Perigean spring tides in the atmosphere are discussed. In 2016–2017, the smoothed anomalies of air temperature over European Russia were found to repeat the evolution of the distance of the perigee (i.e., the distance between the Moon and the Earth at times when the former is at the perigee), which varies as a sine function with a period of about 206 days. The origin of the 206-day lunar cycle is described. Atmospheric spring tides are studied. They are exhibited as atmospheric pressure oscillations similar to perigean spring oscillations of the sea level. The basic dependence of perigean spring tides in the form of beats of atmospheric pressure anomalies at new and full moons is found. The pressure anomalies at full and new moons can be approximated by sinusoids with beat envelope periods of about 412 days and with opposite phases. The range of oscillations at antinodes reaches 40 mb, which is comparable, in order of magnitude, with actual mesoscale fluctuations of atmospheric pressure. This paper is devoted to the synchronization of synoptic processes in the atmosphere with tidal oscillations in the Earth's rotational speed discovered by the author. The causes and effects of the synchronization are explained. Data are given on the monthly revolution of the Earth, tidal oscillations in the Earth's rotational speed, and the main lunisolar cycles. An explanation is proposed for the causes of the Mul'tanovskii elementary synoptic periods and the manifestations of 4- and 8-year cycles in the climate system. It is shown that the 35-year Brückner cycle is attributed to the beat of the annual solar (365 days) and annual lunar (355 days) oscillations in meteorological characteristics. An explanation is proposed for how the lunisolar tides may affect the air temperature, which is based on the interaction of the gravitational lunisolar tides with the radiation conditions in the atmosphere (due to changes in the cloud cover). A discussion is given of the relationship between the fluctuations in the climatic characteristics and the change in the Earth's rotational speed on decadal time scales. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
