Chilli crop is drastically damaged by chilli thrip due to cryptic in nature and difficult to monitor the population till damge symptoms become visible. Simultaneously, this noxious pest mainly controlled by the use of chemicals, which lead to several problems. The main purpose of the present research is to monitor, manage and keep thrip population below economic thresh hold level (ETL) by using various colour (Yellow, Blue, Green & Whitesheets) sticky traps on various trap heights (30, 60,90 & 120 centimeters) were instlled in Randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications at fazal stop,Tandoallahyar during March, 2018 for the management of chilli thrip population efficiently.
