Psychotherapeutic practice in the office, characterized by the closed setting and priority individual care, was the focus of professional performance at the beginning of the development of psychology. Currently, community and preventive practice are highlighted in psychological intervention. Over the years, both devices evolved the distinct performances. This text aims at the idea of a contextual paradigm of learning, favoring relevance, quality, and progress in both areas. This idea is to sustain continuity as one of the complementary options, being part of a continuum and necessary to increase the reach of its results.
