The present case report describes a rare case of dens evaginatus on the labial surface of mandibular incisor and interdisciplinary management including endodontic and periodontal treatment. A 10-year-old girl presented unusual whitish tubercle-like structure penetrated through the buccal gingiva of mandibular later incisor. In cone-beam computed tomographic view, pulpal tissue was extended from the principal root to the tubercle. Following full thickness flap reflection, the tubercle was carefully removed, resulting in dentin and pin-point pulp exposure. In order to prevent pulp necrosis and facilitate periodontal attachment to this area, Biodentine and enamel matrix derivative were applied. Gingival defect was compensated using a collagen matrix. Up to 2 years, harmonious gingiva state and no loss of tooth vitality were observed. In summary, dens evaginatus on mandibular later incisor could be successfully treated by means of interdisciplinary approach.

Maxillary canines are the most commonly impacted teeth, second only to third molars. Various treatment methods may be used to recover impacted maxillary canines. This is a report of a 14-year-old girl with a severely malpositioned impacted right maxillary canine which accompanied severe root resorption of adjacent tooth, treated by autotransplantation with a computer aided rapid prototyping model as a surgical guide. This case report demonstrates that autotransplantation can be a reliable treatment alternative, in cases with a severely malpositioned impacted canine, providing acceptable prognosis.

Congenitally missing teeth are one of the most common dental anomalies. When permanent teeth are absent, various problems can occur. It is important to consider the facial profile, position of the incisor teeth, skeletal and dental development, and available dental space before planning treatment. Possible treatment methods include preserving and retaining the deciduous tooth, replacing the missing tooth with prosthesis, placing an implant, or performing a transplant after extracting the deciduous tooth. Among these possibilities, autotransplantation combined with orthodontic treatment corrects both function and esthetics. This report describes the case of a 7-year-old girl with multiple congenitally missing teeth and an impacted right mandibular second premolar. Timely autotransplantation of the impacted mandibular tooth to the region of the congenitally missing right maxillary second premolar produced favorable results.
