Method of calibration of the calorimeter and drift chambers of the BigBite spectrometer having been used in the experiment on measuring the neutron electric form-factor is presented. The BigBite spectrometer provided measurement of the direction and momentum of scattered electron by means of measuring its trajectory after passing through the magnetic field. Measurement of the neutron electric form-factor G for the values of the transferred momentum Q = 1.3, 1.7, 2.5, and 3.5 (GeV/ c) has been performed at the Jefferson Laboratory (USA). The experiment used the technique of double polarization where the asymmetry of the quasielastic scattering in the semi-inclusive $$ \overrightarrow {He} $$( $$ \vec e $$. e′n) pp reaction is measured. The obtained asymmetry is connected directly with the ratio of electric to magnetic form-factors of the neutron which allows obtaining the former with use of the known values of the latter.
