Abstract

The article focuses on the experimental study regarding energy loss through trashracks. It mentions that the study measured the head loss across trashracks for various blockage ratios. The result shows that the trend of the equation D1 of the head loss using blockage ratio does not predict the loss across trashracks, but it conforms the validity of the equation D2 on predicting the head loss.
