During the operation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning) systems, precise energy consumption prediction plays an important role in achieving energy savings and optimizing system performance. However, the HVAC system is a complex and dynamic system characterized by a large number of variables that exhibit significant changes over time. Therefore, it is inadequate to rely on a fixed offline model to adapt to the dynamic changes in the system that consume tremendous computation time. To solve this problem, a deep neural network (DNN) model based on Just-in-Time learning with hyperparameter R (RJITL) is proposed in this paper to predict HVAC energy consumption. Firstly, relevant samples are selected using Euclidean distance weighted by Spearman coefficients. Subsequently, local models are constructed using deep neural networks supplemented with optimization techniques to enable real-time rolling energy consumption prediction. Then, the ensemble JITL model mitigates the influence of local features, and improves prediction accuracy. Finally, the local models can be adaptively updated to reduce the training time of the overall model by defining the update rule (hyperparameter R) for the JITL model. Experimental results on energy consumption prediction for the HVAC system show that the proposed DNN-RJITL method achieves an average improvement of 5.17% in accuracy and 41.72% in speed compared to traditional methods. In this paper, we present a novel DILTS algorithm that uses a new approach inspired by the energy efficiency of dragonflies. The algorithm optimizes the energy-harvesting mechanisms in IoT devices, inspired by the way dragonflies use wind energy to fly. A sophisticated algorithm optimizes power consumption during task execution, saving energy and speeding up tasks while maintaining the application throughput. The algorithm leverages lazy task scheduling (LTS) to enhance task execution performance. The proposed algorithm evaluates the energy levels of each task and implements an LTS method. This LTS approach improves performance and task management by streamlining scheduling data and reducing overhead. The LTS model reliably optimizes the energy across microbenchmarks and real-time IoT devices. To assess the efficiency and practicality of our algorithm, we compared it to four alternatives. Our novel algorithm outperformed the others with a chip area of 856 μm2, performance speed of 7.11 ns, scheduling accuracy of 94%, and response time of 2.61 ns. Our simulations showed that our proposed method reduced energy consumption by up to 10.02% compared to existing methods. We evaluated the performance of the algorithms on a Zynq 7000 FPGA using the Xilinx Vivado platform via simulations. Our novel algorithm can improve the energy efficiency of green data centers. Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is an interconnection of tiny biosensors that are organized in/on several parts of the body. The developed WBAN is used to sense and transmit health-related data over the wireless medium. Energy efficiency is the primary challenges for increasing the life expectancy of the network. To address the issue of energy efficiency, one of the essential approaches i.e., the selection of an appropriate relay node is modelled as an optimization problem. In this paper, energy efficient routing optimization using Multiobjective-Energy Centric Honey Badger Optimization (M-ECHBA) is proposed to improve life expectancy. The proposed M-ECHBA is optimized by using the energy, distance, delay and node degree. Moreover, the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) is used to perform the node scheduling at transmission. Therefore, the M-ECHBA method is used to discover the optimal routing path for enhancing energy efficiency while minimizing the transmission delay of WBAN. The performances of the M-ECHBA are analyzed using life expectancy, dead nodes, residual energy, delay, packets received by the Base Station (BS), Packet Loss Ratio (PLR) and routing overhead. The M-ECHBA is evaluated with some classical approaches namely SIMPLE, ATTEMPT and RE-ATTEMPT. The Flexible Job Shop Scheduling Problem (FJSP) is an extension of the classical Job Shop Scheduling Problem (JSP). The research objective of the traditional FJSP mainly considers the completion time, but ignores the energy consumption of the manufacturing system. In this paper, a mathematical model of the energy-efficient flexible job shop scheduling problem is constructed. The optimization objectives are completion time, delay time, and total equipment energy consumption. To solve the model, an improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (CT-NSGA-II) is proposed to obtain the optimal scheduling solution. First, the heuristic rules of GLR were used to generate the initial population with good quality and diversity. Second, different crossover and variation operators are designed for the process sequencing and equipment selection parts to enhance the diversity of the evolutionary population. The sparsity theory is introduced to find sparse solutions and three neighborhood structures are designed to perform local search on sparse solutions to improve the uniformity of the optimal solution set distribution. Finally, a competitive selection strategy based on the bidding mechanism is proposed for the Pareto optimal solution set to obtain a better scheduling scheme. The experimental results show that the proposed improved algorithm is feasible and effective in the FJSP problem considering energy consumption, and the algorithm has some application value in improving the efficiency of smart shop operation. A new era in communication has been ushered in by MANET networks, in which users (nodes) interact with one another through a self-configuring network of handheld devices linked by wireless links. Nodes are capable of participating and enthusiastic about sending packets to other nodes. Consequently, the need for a routing protocol materializes. The most difficult aspect is dealing with the network's dynamic topology as a result of node mobility. This is because limited resources like storage space, battery life, and bandwidth require a protocol that can quickly adapt to topology changes while periodically updating messages. On the other hand, security is another important aspect of routing since the involvement of attackers will exhaust the network resources. This paper addresses the main issue of designing a routing protocol that handles all the adversaries and achieves better efficiency. For that, we proposed a Hybrid Machine Learning (HyML) model which evaluates the. Initially, the network is segregated by the Secure Stable Clustering (SSC) approach which first verifies the node's legacy and forms clusters based on stability. The HyML is designed by combining two important ML techniques such as ANN and fuzzy-C Means (FCM) algorithm. The ANN model learns multiple attributes of the trust value and computes the cumulative trust score. Next, FCM determines the node position upon trust score. After the computation of the trust value, optimal route selection is performed by the Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO) technique. Automobiles have undergone a transformation during the past two decades due to the merger of the electronics and automotive industries. The combination of autos and electronic sensors has resulted in a new generation of vehicles known as autonomous vehicles (AVs). These AVs have a few hundred thousand sensors, producing an enormous amount of raw data for computation. Data from the vehicular network can be offloaded to existing telecommunication infrastructure to address the problem of processing resources. In order to address vehicular network requirements, large-capacity servers deployed in major telecommunications networks are first used to offload resource-intensive tasks. Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) is a critical enabling technology for 5 G networks, which has a key feature of offloading to divide application tasks into local and cloud server execution components. This paper proposes a novel Three TierEdge cloud computing (T2 EC2) system which uses an Energy-aware Dynamic Task offloading and collaborative task execution algorithm (EA-DTOCTE) for multilayer vehicular cloud computing networks. The EA-DTOCTE algorithm is included in the decision-making engine in the proposed system, which selects whether to offload the task to the remote environment or implement it locally. EA-DTOCTE focuses on consumption of energy by tasks both locally and remotely since its goal is to efficiently and dynamically split the application into tasks and schedule them on local devices and cloud resources. The proposed T2 EC2 has been evaluated in terms of parameters such as energy consumption, completion time, and throughput. This paper focuses on achieving high-level security in Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET) by incorporating Blockchain technology-based Intrusion Detection systems (IDS). The existing works on MANET security focus on either security prevention or detection. Thus, the security level attained by the prior works is unable to cope with the increasing attacks. To resolve this main issue, this research paper introduces Lightweight Blockchain assisted Intrusion Detection System (LB-IDS) which jointly prevents and detects the attacks held on mobile networks. Initially, the network nodes are authenticated by a lightweight Blockchain-based Multi-Factor Authentication (LBMFA) scheme. This procedure prevents the malicious nodes entry to the network. Then, data packets are transmitted through the optimal route which is selected by Multi-Objective Strawberry Optimization (MOSO) algorithm. The collected data packets are fed into IDS which classifies the data into normal and malicious packets. For IDS, we proposed Deep Q-Learning (DQL) algorithm which takes actions by learning the environment. As the mitigation step, the Blockchain is updated with the trust value according to the data packet classification. For such continuous monitoring, K-Mode Clustering (KMC) algorithm is proposed. On the whole, the proposed work improves the network security in MANET through Prevention, Detection, and Mitigation. In wireless-sensing networks (WSNs), the energy economy has lately emerged as the main problem. Since sensor networks run on batteries, they eventually run out of power. To increase the packet transmission ratio for sensing devices, it becomes more difficult to enhance data loss in an energy-efficient manner. In WSNs, the mobile drain causes high network energy usage and data delay. This paper suggests an Improved Ant Colony Clustering-Based Data Transmission Algorithm (EACODT) that first develops the network nodes' energy density function before allocating sensing nodes with higher residual energy as cluster leaders using the energy density function. The EACODT is thoroughly modeled for different WSN situations with variable numbers of sensing nodes and CHs, and the findings are contrasted with some recently developed meta-heuristic algorithms. There is a widespread use of cluster-based routing in wireless sensor networks since it is the most energy-efficient. Idealizing cluster heads, on the other hand, is NP-hard and hence requires heuristic or metaheuristic approaches. However, while outperforming algorithms, metaheuristics computation time restricts its ability to respond to routing requests as rapidly as algorithms can today. A network's or an application's parameters can't be easily accommodated by routing methods. This paper offers the HMML, a combination model combining hybrid metaheuristics and machine-learning. Our HMML model makes use of an automated tuning metaheuristic (e.g. evolutionary algorithm) to fine-tune the heuristic technique for each specific configuration. For a variety of combinations, this is done. A network simulation is run using the modified heuristic algorithm in each configuration to arrive at a solution. Demand side management (DSM) is a smart grid technology that enables consumers to make decisions about their energy use, lowers energy suppliers' peak hour demand, and changes the load profile. Demand Side Management (DSM) is regarded as the most significant method used in a Smart Grid (SG), as it helps consumers produce accurate information about their electrical energy usage and assists the utility in reducing peak load demand and reshaping the demand curve. By effectively utilising storage with Renewable Energy Systems (RES), DSM seeks to reduce peak demand, electricity costs, and emission rates. In this paper, we have proposed a load-shifting method for the DSM with a large number of controllable devices. The load-shifting issue has been handled hourly, throughout the course of a 24-hour day, in order to reduce the peak demand, lower the power cost, and minimise the Peak to Average load Ratio (PAR). The Archimedes Optimization (AO) method has been utilised in residential loads in SG to achieve the goal of load shifting by minimising of the problem to the DSM. A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a collection of numerous independent sensor nodes that can sense, process, and manipulate data. WSN is grouped into clusters for energy-efficient data collection. A clustering and aggregation technique automatically extends the lifetime of a WSN by collecting data within the cluster to the cluster head, reduces the amount of data through processing, and transmitting. WSN routing protocols are also required for completing all types of operations in a Internet of things (IOT) environment, such as sensing, controlling, and transmitting packets. In this paper, a novel Fuzzy Clustering and Optimal Routing (FCOR) method is proposed in order to lessen the energy consumption, delay, and improve network lifetime and node density. The proposed FCOR method is executed in two stages. The initial stage consists of clustering and cluster head selection using modified Fuzzy c-means algorithm (MFCM). This algorithm will efficiently cluster the nodes and select the optimal cluster head. The second phase consists of optimal routing using a normalized whale optimization algorithm (NWOA), that select the optimal route and thus improve the lifetime of the nodes. The efficiency of the proposed FCOR approach has been determined using the evaluation metrics such as energy efficiency, packet delivery, and network lifetime. In multicasting packets of data from a node will be sent to a group of receiver nodes at the same time. Multicasting lowers transmission costs. Energy conservation is critical to a sensor network's long-term viability. Sensor networks have limited and non-replenishable energy supplies, maximizing network lifetime is crucial in sensor nodes. As a result, clustering has become one of the popular methods for extending the lifetime of an entire system by integrating information at the cluster head. This paper introduces a High Power Node (HPN) multicasting approach which embeds a cluster of sink node data in packet headers to allow receiver for utilizing a approach for transferring multicast packet data via the shortest paths. The proposed Energy efficient multicasting cluster based routing (EEMCR) protocol utilized high power nodes, which shall play a critical role in minimal energy usage. The water transmission and distribution process of the water supply pump station of the water purification plant plays a key role in the entire urban water supply system. When the requirements of water supply quantity and water pressure are satisfied, the reduction of operating energy consumption of the pump set and improvement of its service life are urgent problems. Therefore, to reduce the cost of water supply pump station, a mathematical model is established to minimize the energy consumption of pump group, the number of pump switches and the load balancing in this paper. In order to solve the pump scheduling problem, a two-stage strategy based on genetic algorithm is proposed. In stage one, the frequency conversion ratio and the number of pumps needed to be turned on at the lowest energy consumption are calculated. In stage two, through the improved genetic algorithm and iterative way to reduce the number of pump switches and load balancing. Finally, a case study from a real waterworks in Suzhou, China is used to verify the validity of the proposed model. Numerical results reveal that the improved genetic algorithm outperforms the competing algorithms. With the rapid development of cloud computing, there are more and more large-scale data centers, which makes the energy management of data centers more complex. In order to achieve better energy-saving effect, it is necessary to solve the problems of concurrent management and interdependence of IT, refrigeration, storage, and network equipment. Reinforcement learning learns by interacting with the environment, which is a good way to realize the independent management of the data center. In this paper, a overall energy consumption method for data center based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed to achieve collaborative energy saving of data center task scheduling and refrigeration equipment. A new multi-agent architecture is proposed to separate the training process from the execution process, simplify the interaction process during system operation and improve the operation effect. In the deep learning stage, a hybrid deep Q network algorithm is proposed to optimize the joint action value function of the data center and obtain the optimal strategy. Experiments show that compared with other reinforcement learning methods, our method can not only reduce the energy consumption of the data center, but also reduce the frequency of hot spots. This paper aims to formulate an enhanced ant colony optimization algorithm that helps find a suitable data route that improves energy efficiency and reduces the time consumption for the delivery of packets. Energy equations have been framed to analyze energy used at the transmitting, receiving, and relay nodes. The network is segmented into smaller virtual segments for easier analysis of the proposed algorithm. Each segment is assumed to have nodes with a cluster head. The sink gathers information from different cluster heads as it moves from one segment to another. The nodes not in close connection with the network used the overhearing mechanism to share the information with the sink. The simulation has been done using Cisco Packet Tracer software. The proposed algorithm has been applied to different types of wireless networks to determine their efficiency. The wireless networks considered for this purpose are Bluetooth, Wi-Max, and Wi-Fi. Based on the nonlinearity of energy consumption systems and the influence of multiple factors, this paper presents a nonlinear multivariable grey prediction model with parameter optimization and estimates the parameters and the approximate time response function of the model. Next, a genetic algorithm is applied to optimize the nonlinear terms of the novel model to seek the optimal parameters, and the modelling steps are outlined. Then, to assess the effectiveness of the novel model, this paper adopts Chinese oil, gas, coal and clean energy as research objects, and three classical grey forecasting models and one time series method are chosen for comparison. The most installed Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in micro-grids (MG) are Photovoltaic (PV) power and wind power. Due to the intermittent behaviour of renewable sources, parallel operation of RES and battery storage known as hybrid system is important particularly in remote micro-grids to reduce the fuel consumption by diesel generators and continuity of supply to the load. In this paper, multilevel inverter called Packed E-Cell (PEC) is used for parallel operation of RES and battery storage optimally for micro-grid applications. The PEC requires less components compared to other Multi-level inverters (MLI) topology with relatively low total harmonic distortion (THD). Further, selective harmonic technique based on optimization principle is used to enhance the harmonic profile using low frequency switching technique. The 3rd and 5th harmonics are eliminated using Genetic Algorithm (GA) optimization technique. The simulation-based analysis is done using Simulink/MATLAB and the results obtained for THD in the output current and voltage are presented and discussed in the paper. A comparative analysis is also presented with high frequency modulation technique phase disposition pulse width modulation (PDPWM) technique. P2P networks are particularly vulnerable to Sybil and Eclipse attacks, especially those based on Distributed Hash Tables (DHT). However, detecting Sybil and Eclipse attacks is a challenging task, and existing methods are ineffective due to unequal sample distribution, incomplete definitions of discriminating features, and weak feature perception. This paper proposes a Fuzzy Secure Kademlia (FSK) that detects and mitigates the Sybil and Eclipse attack. At first, a node requests authentication by providing its MAC address, location, Node Angle (NA), and Node Residual Energy (NRE) to an infrastructure server. As long as the packet's ID, location, NA, and NRE match the packet's received ID, it can be recognized as normal. The incoming packet, however, is detected as Sybil or Eclipse attack packets if copies are made in locations other than those specified. When the Sybil or Eclipse attack has been detected, locate the multiplied nodes. By using the FSK, the malicious node can be removed, preventing it from causing any harm to the network. The suggested framework is compared with existing methods in terms of detection time, and energy consumption. One of the biggest challenges for Internet of Things (IoT) systems is traffic congestion in large networks. For this reason, the bandwidth should be increased in such systems. In addition, the issue of routing is raised in sending packets from the origin to the destination. In this paper, a novel routing method based on Routing Protocol for Low-Power (RPL) is presented to minimize the energy consumption of the Internet of Things. Using the backward method based on the A* method to reduce energy consumption in a large graph, promising nodes are selected. A coordinate node is used to manage packets and transfer them. The selection of the coordinator node helps to receive packets with less energy and less delay from its neighbors, and the head node selects the best coordinator node with the shortest distance and the highest residual energy. In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Clustering aids in maximizing the lifetime of the network with sustained energy stability in the sensor nodes during data dissemination. In this clustering process, the sensor nodes are organized into clusters with the potential fitness node designated as Cluster Heads (CHs) for collecting and forwarding the data to the sink. In specific, the energy consumption of sensor nodes during their role as CH is maximized with great impact over the network lifespan. In this paper, a Weight-imposed Elite Hybrid Binary Cuckoo Search (EHBCS)-based Clustering Mechanism is proposed for facilitating potent data transmission with minimized energy consumption and improved network lifetime. This EHBCS is proposed as a novel energy-sensitive CH selection framework based on the process of hierarchical routing through the inclusion of hybrid optimization algorithm. It selected CH depending on the parameters of Quality of Service (QoS), delay, distance, and energy into account. It integrated the merits of Binary Cuckoo Search and Elite Mechanism for selecting CHs and performing effective processes by preventing sinkhole issues in WSNs. In healthcare (HC), Internet of Things (IoT) integrated cloud computing provides various features and real-time applications. However, owing to the nature of IoT architecture, their types, various modes of communication and the density of data transformed in the network, security is currently a critical issue in the IoT healthcare (IoT-HC) field. This paper proposes a deep learning (DL) model, namely Adaptive Swish-based Deep Multi-Layer Perceptron (ASDMLP) that identifies the intrusions or attacks in the IoT healthcare (IoT-HC) platform. The proposed model starts by clustering the patients' sensor devices in the network using the Probability-based Fuzzy C-Means (PFCM) model. After clustering the devices, the cluster heads (CHs) among the cluster members are selected based on the energy, distance and degree of the sensor devices for aggregating the data sensed by the medical sensor devices. The base station (BS) sends the patient's data collected by the CHs to the cloud server (CS). At the cloud end, the proposed model implements an IDS by applying training of the DL model in publicly available databases. The DL approach first performs preprocessing of the data and then selects optimal features from the dataset using the Opposition and Greedy Levy mutation-based Coyotes Optimization Algorithm (OGCOA). The ASDMLP trains these optimal features for the detection of HC data intrusions. A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is divided into groups of sensor nodes for efficient transmission of data from the point of measuring to sink. By performing clustering, the network remains energy-efficient and stable. An intelligent mechanism is needed to cluster the sensors and find an organizer node, the cluster head. The organizer node assembles data from its constituent nodes called member nodes, finds an optimal route to the sink of the network, and transfers the same. The nomination of cluster head is crucial since energy utilization is a major challenge of sensor nodes deployed over a hostile environment. In this paper, a fuzzy-based Improved Harris's Hawk Optimization Algorithm (IHHO) is proposed to select an able cluster head for data communication. The fuzzy inference model ponders balance energy, distance from self to sink node, and vicinity of nodes from cluster head as input factors and decides if a candidate node is eligible for becoming a cluster head. In the resource-constrained wireless sensor network (WSN) geographic routing has been considered as an attractive method where it exploits the location data instead of global topology to transmit the data. In order to avoid the energy loss due to data transmission, a data prediction technique is implemented. In this paper, we present a new multi-point data prediction technique, in which the prediction algorithm is initially implemented at both member nodes and cluster heads. This paper proposes an efficient energy management approach for managing the demand response and energy forecasting in a smart grid using Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed energy management approach is the hybrid technique that is the joint execution of adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and balancing composite motion optimization (BCMO), thus it is called ANFIS-BCMO technique. Recently, energy-saving scheduling issues have attracted more and more attention in the manufacturing field. Meanwhile, in practical production, maintenance planning is viewed as a vital task in the workshop. However, the existing literature about energy-saving scheduling problems rarely consider the effect of preventive maintenance. Therefore, this paper investigates an energy-saving flexible job shop scheduling problem with preventive maintenance. A mathematical model is proposed considering the minimization of total energy consumption. To solve the problem, a novel discrete elephant herding optimization algorithm (NDEHO) is proposed according to the problem's characteristics. To test the NDEHO's performance, the Taguchi design of experiment approach is adopted to get the best combination of parameters in the algorithm. Energy or load disaggregation, as one essential part of non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM), is an efficient way to separate the consumption information of target appliances from the whole consumption data, and can accordingly help to regulate people's energy consumption behaviors. However, the consumptions of the target appliances are usually affected by the variance of the opening time, working condition and user interference, so it is a difficult task to realize precise disaggregation. To further improve the energy disaggregation accuracy, this paper proposes a new parallel disaggregation strategy with two subnets for the energy consumption disaggregation of the target appliances in the residential buildings. In the proposed strategy, the parallel disaggregation network contains a long-term disaggregation network and a short-term disaggregation network, which can automatically and respectively learn the long-term trend features and short-term dynamic characteristics of the electrical appliances. This parallel structure can make full use of the advantages of different methods in feature extraction, so as to model the appliance features more comprehensively. To better extract the long-term and short-term features, in the long-term disaggregation subnet, we propose the double branch bi-directional temporal convolution network (DBB-TCN) which has a wider receptive field than the traditional temporal convolution networks (TCN), while in the short-term disaggregation subnet, we adopt the convolution auto-encoder to learn the short-term characteristics of the target appliances. Finally, detailed experiments and comparisons are made with two real-world datasets. Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET) in modern research have many optimal energy conservation mechanisms that can be deployed easily and in a faster manner. The routing approaches associated with energy consumption play a dominant role in routing the data packets between the mobile sensor nodes within the range of optimization. However, major challenges associated with energy consumption in MANETs include reduced lifetime of sensor nodes, poor coverage, and throughput. Most methods tend to reduce the interference of data while traversing between the sensor nodes and increase the capacity of the network. This results in delays while transmitting the packets across the network, and this may result in failure of packets being transmitted. To resolve this issue, in this paper, we propose an ant colony optimization combined with a flower pollination algorithm for minimal energy consumption and throughput maximisation in MANETs. This hybrid meta-heuristic model resolves the issues, including delays, poor coverage, and reduced network lifetime. This hybrid model uses the estimation of neighbourhood distance among the nodes for optimal placement of nodes for effective location. The estimation of location is found using a flower pollination algorithm with a levy flight mechanism. The estimation is carried out in a hyper sphere model that helps in finding the coverage area of the sensor nodes. Depending upon the estimation of neighbourhood distance among the sensor nodes, the consumption of energy among the sensor nodes in MANETs is reduced. Internet of Things (IoT) services are directly deployed on resource-constrained smart devices. Smart devices are characteristic by spatial and temporal constraints and energy limitations. A single IoT service cannot meet the complex requirements of users, so multiple IoT services need to be combined to provide services to users. As more and more smart devices are deployed in IoT, how to select IoT services with lower energy consumption and better quality of service (QoS) for service composition becomes a challenging problem. Combined with the characteristics that the data information of IoT is closely related to geographical location, the GeoHash algorithm is used to locally screen services based on geographical location, so as to narrow the range of candidate services. For smart devices with energy constraints, this paper proposes a combined optimization model. The model considers not only the transmission energy consumption and switching energy consumption, but also the execution energy consumption when the device provides services. This paper presents a discrete animal migration optimization (DAMO) to solve the dual-resource constrained energy-saving flexible job shop scheduling problem (DRCESFJSP), with the aim of minimizing the total energy consumption in the workshop. A job-resource-based two-vector encoding method is designed to represent the scheduling solution, and an energy-saving decoding approach is given based on the left-shift rule. To ensure the quality and diversity of initial scheduling solutions, a heuristic approach is employed for the resource assignment, and some dispatching rules are applied to acquire the operation permutation. In the proposed DAMO, based on the characteristics of the DRCESFJSP problem, the search operators of the basic AMO are discretized to adapt to the problem under study. An animal migration operator is presented based on six problem-based neighborhood structures, which dynamically changes the search scale of each animal according to its solution quality. An individual updating operator based on crossover operation is designed to obtain new individuals through the crossover operation between the current individual and the best individual or a random individual. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, the Taguchi design of experiment method is first applied to obtain the best combination of parameters. Numerical experiments are carried out based on 32 instances in the existing literature. Computational data and statistical comparisons indicate that both the left-shift decoding rule and population initialization strategy are effective in enhancing the quality of the scheduling solutions. Building energy consumption (BEC) prediction often requires constructing a corresponding model for each building based historical data. However, the constructed model for one building is difficult to be reused in other buildings. Recent approaches have shown that cloud-edge collaboration architecture is promising in realizing model reuse. How to complete the reuse of cloud energy consumption prediction models at the edge and reduce the computational cost of the model training is one of the key issues that need to be solved. To handle the above problems, a cloud-edge collaboration based transferring prediction method for BEC is proposed in this paper. Specifically, a model library stored prediction models for different types of buildings is constructed based the historical energy consumption data and the long short-term memory (LSTM) network in the cloud firstly; then, the similarity measurement strategies of time series with different granularity are given, and the model to be transferred from the model library is matched by analyzing the similarity between observation data uploaded to the cloud and the historical data collected in the cloud; finally, the fine-tuning strategy of the matching prediction model is given, and this model is fine-tuned at the edge to achieve its reuse in concrete application scenarios. Experiments on practical datasets reveal that compared with the prediction model which doesn't utilize the transfer strategy, the proposed prediction model has better performance according to MAE and RMSE. Regarding the ever-increasing development of data and computational centers due to the contribution of high-performance computing systems in such sectors, energy consumption has always been of great importance due to CO2 emissions that can result in adverse effects on the environment. In recent years, the notions such as "energy" and also "Green Computing" have played crucial roles when scheduling parallel tasks in datacenters. The duplication and clustering strategies, as well as Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) techniques, have focused on the reduction of the energy consumption and the optimization of the performance parameters. Concerning scheduling Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) of a datacenter processors equipped with the technique of DVFS, this paper proposes an energy- and time-aware algorithm based on dual-phase scheduling, called EATSDCDD, to apply the combination of the strategies for duplication and clustering along with the distribution of slack-time among the tasks of a cluster. DVFS and control procedures in the proposed green system are mapped into Petri net-based models, which contribute to designing a multiple decision process. In the first phase, we use an intelligent combined approach of the duplication and clustering strategies to run the immediate tasks of DAG along with monitoring the throughput by concentrating on the reduction of makespan and the energy consumed in the processors. The main idea of the proposed algorithm involves the achievement of a maximum reduction in energy consumption in the second phase. To this end, the slack time was distributed among non-critical dependent tasks. Additionally, we cover the issues of negotiation between consumers and service providers at the rate of μ based on Green Service Level Agreement (GSLA) to achieve a higher saving of the energy. Eventually, a set of data established for conducting the examinations and also different parameters of the constructed random DAG are assessed to examine the efficiency of our proposed algorithm. Energy consumption prediction can provide reliable data support for energy scheduling and optimization of office buildings. It is difficult for traditional prediction model to achieve stable accuracy and robustness when energy consumption mode is complex and data sources are diverse. Based on such situation, this paper raised an approach containing the method of comprehensive similar day and ensemble learning. Firstly, the historical data was analyzed and calculated to obtain the similarity degree of meteorological features, time factor and precursor. Next, the entropy weight method was used to calculate comprehensive similar day and applied to the model training. Then the improved sine cosine optimization algorithm (SCA) was applied to the optimization and parameter selection of a single model. Finally, an approach of model selection and integration based on dominance was proposed, which was compared with Support Vector Regression (SVR), Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), with a large office building in Xi 'an taken as an example to analysis showing that compared with the prediction accuracy, root mean square percentage error (RMSPE) in the ensemble learning model after using comprehensive similar day was reduced by about 0.15 compared with the BP model, and was reduced by about 0.05, 0.06 compared with the SVR and LSTM model. Respectively, the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) was reduced by 12.02%, 6.51% and 5.28%. Compared with several other integration methods, integration model based on dominance reduced absolute error at all times. Accordingly, the proposed approach can effectively solve problems of low accuracy and poor robustness in traditional model and predict the building energy consumption efficaciously. Based on a RIES construction project in Jiangsu province, this paper proposes a new multi criteria decision-making (MCDM) method for the selection of RIES schemes. Because that subjective evaluation on RIES schemes benefit under criteria has uncertainty and hesitancy, intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy number (ITFN) which has the better capability to model ill-known quantities is presented. In consideration of risk attitude and interdependency of criteria, a new decision model with risk coefficients, Mahalanobis-Taguchi system and Choquet integral is proposed. Firstly, the decision matrices given by experts are normalized, and then are transformed to minimum expectation matrices according to different risk coefficients. Secondly, the weights of criteria from different experts are calculated by Mahalanobis-Taguchi system. Mobius transformation coefficients based on interaction degree are to calculate 2-order additive fuzzy measures, and then the comprehensive weights of criteria are obtained by fuzzy measures and Choquet integral. Thirdly, based on group decision consensus requirement, the weights of experts are obtained by the maximum entropy and grey correlation. Fourthly, the minimum expectation matrices are aggregated by the intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy Bonferroni mean operator. Thus, the ranking result according to the comparison rules using the minimum expectation and the maximum expectation is obtained. In this paper, an enhanced version of the emperor penguin optimization algorithm is proposed for solving dynamic economic dispatch (DED) problem incorporating renewable energy sources and microgrid. Dynamic economic load dispatch optimally shares the power on an hourly basis for a day among the committed generating units to satisfy the feasible load demand. Emission of pollutants from the combustion fossil fuel and gradual depletion of fossil fuel encourages the usage of renewable energy sources. Implementation of renewable energy sources with the reinforcement of green energy transforms the fossil fuel-based plant into a hybrid generating plant. The increase in power production with the increase in electricity demand implicates challenges for economical operation. The proposed algorithm is applied to the DED problem for fossil fuel based and renewable energy system to find economic schedule of generated power among the committed generating units. Deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) and optimization algorithms in greenhouse farming is highly desirable for real-time monitoring and controlling various parameters with optimal solutions. However, IoT based greenhouses require more energy as compared to traditional farming. This paper proposes an optimal greenhouse water supplement mechanism with efficient energy consumption based on IoT and optimization techniques. The first contribution of this study is to gather the actual water and soil moisture levels from the greenhouse and tank using IoT devices. Secondly, the formulation and deployment of an objective function to compute the optimal water and soil moisture levels for greenhouse and tank based on user-desired settings, the system constraints and actual sensing values. We applied a rule-based expert system to activate water pumps with the required flow rate and operational duration to achieve efficient energy consumption. Dynamic and frequent re-clustering of nodes along with data aggregation is used to achieve energy-efficient operation in wireless sensor networks. But dynamic cluster formation supports data aggregation only when clusters can be formed using any set of nodes that lie in close proximity to each other. Frequent re-clustering makes network management difficult and adversely affects the use of energy efficient TDMA-based scheduling for data collection within the clusters. To circumvent these issues, a centralized Fixed-Cluster Architecture (FCA) has been proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme leads to a simplified network implementation for smart spaces where it makes more sense to aggregate data that belongs to a cluster of sensors located within the confines of a designated area. A comparative study is done with dynamic clusters formed with a distributive Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) and a centralized Harmonic Search Algorithm (HSA). Using uniform cluster size for FCA, the results show that it utilizes the available energy efficiently by providing stability period values that are 56% and 41% more as compared to LEACH and HSA respectively. In this paper, typical application of Cyber Physical System (CPS) has been highlighted for the critical-healthcare data transmission services. Sensors of CPS are providing patient's health information via a communication network to a medical practitioner at some distant place. Needs of development of dependable routing protocol for such type of applications in healthcare are increased day-by-day. This paper proposes a quickest, critical and energy efficient routing for the CPS based healthcare system. Simulations performed to convey the appropriateness of the quality of data transmission system according to the well-defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) formulation. Proposed energy and SLA cooperation in data transmission is beneficial for the tele-operated medical service. A medical practitioner is able to monitor a patient in real-time with the help of proposed dependable and energy efficient data transmission. The results shows that CPS with consideration of different constraints such as energy and SLAs have a severe effect on its performance parameters such as mean number of QSS s-t paths, average hop counts and average energy efficiency. The aims of this paper are to consider cost and energy consumption to solve overhead crane systems' setting issues. The main issue is that cranes use higher frequency handling equipment in heavy industry. In the overhead crane system setting issues, the determining factors, such as cost, load and energy consumption, are fuzzy. Moreover, decision makers must simultaneously consider real-world conflicting multi-objectives. In summary the question involves a fuzzy multi-objectives problem. Therefore, this paper adopted fuzzy multi-objective programming to construct a mathematical model aimed at minimizing cost and energy consumption with reference to the crane load, recovery period and budget, to carry out a crane system configuration. The Internet of Things (IoT) has been emerged as one of the most optimistic solution that reducing the gap between physical and cyber world. In IoT, sensors and actuators gather the sensory information; communicate with each other to fulfill application requirements. As sensor nodes are running on batteries, which cannot be replaced, so the development of the green model in IoT for shifting the real world data into the cyber world is challenging task. As IoT is deployed in large area and become more complex, so wireless sensor network current techniques cannot be applied in it directly. To achieve energy efficient network in the field of Internet of Thing, this paper addresses these challenging issues by introducing an efficient deployment scheme. This paper contributes: (1) A hierarchical cluster model for IoT network deployment; (2) An optimal Relay node ( ℝ ℕ ) election technique with respect to node density in the network and their deployment strategy by using their communication area as threshold distance for next ℝ ℕ selection within the cluster; (3) An efficient energy routing algorithm to meet the requirement of proposed model.
